Injury-plagued Milan striker Ronaldo is set to leave the club in June, with his next destination either the U.S.A, the United Arab Emirates or Japan.

Injury-Plagued

El Fenomeno joined the Rossoneri in January of this year from Real Madrid and had a fine end to the Serie A season.

However this campaign has been a complete disaster for the 31-year-old, and due to injury he only made his first appearance of the season against Cagliari on November 25.

After an impressive performance many expected Ronaldo to go from strength to strength but just days later he injured his calf while warming up before the Champions League match with Benfica.

He has not returned to action since, and despite travelling to Japan with the rest of his team-mates, he will take no part in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Next Destination?

Ronaldo’s contract with Milan runs until next summer, and it is almost certain that the club will not offer him a new deal due to his constant injury problems.

According to La Stampa, the Brazilian’s next destination could be the United States, where former Real Madrid colleague David Beckham is keen to entice him into signing for the LA Galaxy. Red Bull New York are also said to be interested.

Another option is a move to the United Arab Emirates, where Ronaldo would receive a lucrative annual wage. A number of Japanese clubs are also said to be sniffing around.

Apparently he makes around 70k a week for playing 90 minutes with us so far this season. Life is grand.

Now this would be a comedy classic, footballs two biggest advertising names sitting injuried on the stands in LA. I reckon they will combine a grand total of three games altogether next season. :D

I think it does. Maybe because I am a oldie, but I don't overly like to much merging business, looks like there are so few threads ;) Anyway, since I am pretty sure that Ronaldo WILL leave us, then I believe this is very warranted.

He is capable of brilliance still. Let's see what he can do in the rest of the season before casting him aside.

He doesn't deserve a renewal but most likely we're gonna renew it anyway...

Galliani Tells Ronaldo: Get Fit Or You're Off
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has issued a thinly-veiled warning to Ronaldo that if he doesn’t overcome his injury problems he will be leaving the club.

well any player can injured for a long time as we saw Chelsea Ballack return to the game after 8 month layoff. Ronaldo score 7 goals in 12 starts for Milan, he still useful.
