I'm a recent addition to the fan base of AC Milan. I actually just returned home from my fabulous 2 week trip to Italy and I miss that country so much! I'm absolutely in-love with everything Italian. Everything from il Dotore, Valentino Rossi, to gelatti, to the city of Firenze! When I graduate from college, I decided that I will move to Italy, or somewhere in Europe that is reasonably closer to Italy than my current home of California.

Recently, I've began watching football and have been amazed by 2 players. Gennaro Gattuso and Luca Toni.

I bought this jersey while I was in Roma:

I know that the numbers and letters are not authentic, but that's how it was printed in the Adidas store in Rome. They had to custom print it because they didn't have a Milan jersey with his name on it. So far, it is my most favorite thing I brought home from Italy apart from the 2 bottles of Limoncello!

Me inside Il Coloseo:

And one of my favorite spots in all of Italy, on top of Brunate over looking the Tre Lagghi in Como.

Grand Canale in Venezia:

And the city in which I will be a future resident, Firenze (Ponte Vecchio at night, yes, that is taken with my crappy Sony camera):

I hope I didn't bore you all. I look forward to seeing the Rossoneri to taking the Champion's League and Serie A this year!

All I have to say is that the Italian people are the most amazing, passionate and welcoming people I have ever met. I can't wait to become an Italian resident!

Ciao!

Sweet. Thanks for the welcome. I'm in Chula Vista, so a little down South from you. I'm really jealous about you going to Venezia. It was the one city in Italy that made the BIGGEST impression on me. I decided that I will live in that city one day. Maybe after I retire. However, I will make my very best efforts in going to Italy at least once per year. I've already begun saving up for a trip next summer. :D

Gattuso used to be our midfield terror, hopefully he will recover and become himself again :D

Fine, welcome, I was sad as I was the only one interested in MotoGP and especially The Doctor !!

I even opened a thread about MotoGP, I don't know where it is now ... lol

No worries, you have a fellow 2 wheel rider in the forum now! I started watching MotoGP in 1996 when Vale was still on a 125. I knew from the very beginning that kid was special. I go to the US MotoGP in Laguna Seca here in California every year. I've been going since they first returned in 2005.

By the way, I was in Paris this summer and I must say that it wasn't my favorite city on my trip. Paris would be so much nicer without the Parisians. :grinser:

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me. Much appreciated.

I only went to the French GP in Le Mans in ... 2005 I think, I remember that I had a test to enter in a new school the day I had to go and so I made it quickly lol. It was of course a victory of Rossi !!

Yes, it's what everybody says in France ... lol
I won't say that because I didn't go so often in Paris in my life (and don't want, I don't like this city).
