View Full Version : Happy Thanksgiving...
and a warm greeting of the Christmas Season!
A busy day for me as it was last year. Folks in Korea are coming to like the Holiday's opening with a tradional Thanksgiving meal.
Eight turkeys arrived on Tuesday and I got make sure all is set for tomorrow afternoon's Thanksgiving celebrations.
Whether we think we have much or little, we have cause to give thanks for everything that is ours, for the food we eat, for friends and freedom, for the warmth we feel from the sun, for the companionship of people, for the leaves that fall and again come forth, for the rain that filters through the soil, for the beauty and providence of the earth, for the very air we breathe and for the very life we live. All good things are gifts from a loving God. Wait not until such rich blessings go away to appreciate them more fully.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy thanksgiving to you too Kui... God bless you and your family.

Thank You Gio!
I hope all of you will bear with me further.
Sometimes we here in this forum get detatched from the gifts of gratitude. It get's the best of us. We rejoice in happiness only when the right result of a football match suits only to OUR liking. At a gameday loss, we show the worse of attitudes and give up when there is so much to look forward to.
Once in while it is high time to set our feet back to earth and see what real gratitude is all about.
This time of year we can find it in a brave young man named clickBrendan Foster (http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/us/2008/11/22/jaffe.wa.boy.dying.wish.obit.komo)click who new the best in Thanksgiving. Please feel free to watch this 2 minute piece on a brave young man like Brendan.
