View Full Version : Silvio Berlusconi
I think it´s time to start talking about Berlusconi and about what´s going on in Milan.
Ok, there is already a lot of rumor in the Kaka thread, but it seems that it is only getting worse.
Quote asked in her headlines today : Is Berlusconi selling AC Milan to Dubai ?
Seems there is an offer for 400 millions for 40 % ownership and an option for the other 60% later.
According to the finacial times, Silvio´s children, Pier Silvio and Marina, who have high positions in Finnivest, the Berlusconi imperium, don´t want to put money in Berlusconi´s hobby´s ( Milan and party´s with young girls ) They should be forcing to sell Kaka first, and the rest to Dubai.
Besides all that rumors, or just because of it - what do you think about Berlusconi ?

i think he rocks ! i would like to be silvio
Well he is no Saint I'll tell you that. He does know a lot about business even in the dark alleys of the trade.
His nickname is Benito....do you think he is a dictator, or as some people say, he is getting insane ?
There is a lot of negative press in Europe, how do italians see him ?
Silvio Berlusconi is pure, but not humble.
Am I happy about him? I love him very much. He has given Milan 23 years of history and passion.
And about the rumours of seeing someone else buy Milan? You can't buy Milan for money. Milan is love, not something you can buy for millions of cash.
And in the end there is no way at all Berlusconi will sell Milan.

Honestly, I have to agree with Hasan and Xudong about you. Certainly you're one of a kind.
The part I bolded just made me :haha:
And you consider yourself pure?
I am not sure that Berlusconi is pure, man. He is a businessman and a politician; and if we know anything about businessmen and politicians, that will be they are tricky. Actually I am kind of hoping that this Kaka saga is just another risky game that this "evil" man is playing now. If he really was pure, we would be doomed by now.
OK. back to the topic, I was grateful to him. I have supported Milan since 1989, so I guess without him, I wouldn't be a Milan fan to start with. But I have to say that I am getting a bit annoyed by this man. I know I love Milan and will do that for life. But I definitely can't say the same to this guy.
And you consider yourself pure?
Relax, Rico. Nobody is calling anybody pure here. :grinser:
its been great to have silvio and when milan was his toy we were smashing transfer records with the likes of papin and lentini then when he achieved and won everything he moved onto a new toy politics and now his toy is running a country.
whilst i am grateful, its time to part ways, the arabs will pump money in transfer money and wage money.
Berlusconi pure? Oh dear..
Relax, Rico. Nobody is calling anybody pure here. :grinser:
A lot of people are pure. And Berlusconi is one of them. I love him very much. And I don't like that people call him a sinner.
It's insane.
Secondly no one knows for sure about what Berlusconi has done with his business. People claim he is cheating, that he is a bad man.
What exactly has he done? Nothing of evidence.
Perhaps I am passionate about Milan. Perhaps I love the club. And perhaps that's why I do not accept people who judges and attacks something which is very pure to me and something that I love more than you'll ever know.
Berlusconi pure? Oh dear..
some people here think him the holy father :v408:

Come on, Rico. We all know that you love Milan very much, and we share that passion too. I am not going to argue with you about Berlu, but I think we can all agree that we all love Milan - that's the only thing that looks important to me and that's enough for me to know that. :)
Well he's a businessman and a politician. He makes it difficult for someone to not like him.
I have nothing than respect for what he built up from scratch.
Although I do question some of his methods he used to get there.
I have respect for him since he brought us this team glory yet will he bring us glory in the future? It depends with what he/his children want.
Its time for him to leave Milan.
Rick is or Kaka' or Jesus...
If Berlusconi is pure then 95% of the world is pure. And still the world is going to hell ( metaforically speaking).
Sell Ricky and you can sell Milan. Enough is enough. Debts? Its a joke and people are buying it. Silvio has 10bln and we have 60mln debt! Sell Seedorf, Pirlo, Oddo and Yoan ( sold ). And take few euros from tv! Greed!
I willcrepeat what maybe some dont know: Silvio wanted to by Inter first. He loves money more then ac Milan. If he sells Kaka' ultras and people in genera should abbandon San Siro and behave towards him like he does towards Milan fans in last 4 years.
Kaka will go, when Galliani starts talking about how the Milan fans should appreciate Berlusconi then you know they are going to do something bad.
Personally Im hoping the Sheikh from Dubai buys Milan with Kaka and Pato still in it.

Spare me, please.
Berlusconi hasn't cared about the welfare of the club since we won the CL. Otherwise, he wouldn't have refused to listen to Carlo's suggestions on improving the roster (Ribery, et al.) instead of wasting money on marketing gimmicks like Ronaldinho and Beckham (neither of whom improved Milan's fortunes during the course of the season), all while stupidly taking a disgraced Sheva back purely out of sentimentality.
The only thing during the Maldini-ultras debacle that made a lick of horse sense was a sign they displayed that lambasted Berlu for not spending for the sake of improving the club.
Now he's crying wolf about Kaka for the second time in six months, since it conveniently falls on the eve of an upcoming election.
F--- it all. I want him gone and the team in the reins of someone who actually cares.

LOL you are sooooo right. Galliani will talk about how many trophies we won too LOL.. Man thanks for making me smile after all this bs i/ve been reading this week.
Forza Gorky and Forza Milan!!!!!!!!
I won't get started or I might get banned. Let's just say, as long as he kept putting money into the team (which has given him far more than he has given), I can stomach the man. Now, not so much.

This is AC Milan. A very fine and harmonic club where the fans support the team for better or for worse. We are not Inter who in the face of adversity abandons the team altogether like when Chievo beat them 1-2 on San Siro in which the Ultras didn't show up and instead left negative banners.
We are men, and men don't give up when the tough gets going. We stay. And we fight. Like we've always done.

Yes...that was shown on 24th of may, right ?
A very fine and harmonic farewell......

She does at that?
I have no idea what you're trying to ask.
And I have no idea why you are not pure to the club you claim to support. Your comments are made of anger which is rooted to the pain you feel in your life.
As a result you post these well written posts here and act like you're a king, which people here have accepted and apparently looks up to.
You are not a king. You are not better than the rest of us. And you're hatred for Inter and scathing offenses against Milan is wrong.
There is a consequence to these actions. A price. And one day that price will live.

I really have no idea what you're on about but thanks for the compliment. :pp20:
They are written in good English. Very well written. But you judge. It's not allowed to judge. You don't even give them a chance.
Seedorf, Ancelotti and all these players there is on Milan's team are getting kicked in the ass by you for no good reason.
The worst thing about it is that you don't give them a chance. They are doing the best they can and all you do is attack them.
Dev, i think Rico has a crush on you :ilol:

I´m sorry, Rico, but the only one judging here is you.
This is a FORUM, Rico, a place where people can share their thoughts, their emotions, their fear and frustrations. In a way of good behaviour.
It´s called a discussion- the beginning of all democracy.
We all love Milan, just like you, but YOUR LOVE IS BLIND. You can´t change reality by denying it. And you can´t stop people from thinking.
So, please stop it. I´m really getting a bit upset of your comments, sorry.

umm....I have complimented them actually on numerous occasions quite recently (Seedorf in the last couple of weeks). Maybe you missed when preaching about your love of the pure but not humble Berlu which is symbolised in the club Milan. Of course, my anger is due to my jealousy I feel towards this love fest in the greater entity known as Milan in which I have damned with my hateful comments. Obviously the feeling of hatred has reached Kaka, the figurehead of the pure love and humbleness which Milan represents, since Maldini left and thus he feels compelled to leave as I have brought evil into our otherwise joyful and wonderous club which exhudes love and peace throughout the world. As my anger and hatred contaminates the ever loving Kaka, it filters through to our other players, causing sadness amongst even the hardest lovers like Gattuso. Of course, this leaves the young, innocent and impressionable Pato at the mercy of my hatred and thus, he is tempted by the love which Ancelotti, the lovefilled ex-coach of the loving entity Milan, has now offered him. Then of course, there is Seedorf, the greatest of all lovers having shown his love in many clubs over the years, and through peaceful loving methods he influences Pato to join Ancelotti's new lovefest, having experienced the love for almost a decade. Seedorf's love obviously expands to Inter, where he experienced years of joy and peace and understood concept of love with Ronaldo's ex. Without knowing this joy of love, I must accept that my life is full of anger and hate. Oh what should I do Rico?
Acmir, should I be worried? :D
There will be a penalty for Devan. There is no way around it. And one day you will be forced to admit it.
What you should do...? Shape up and stop. :)
lanuora, there is no denying this is a forum where people express their views, never questioned that. I'm questioning the manner people are expressing it. When I read this forum people are acting out of pain and it leads to angry posts.
I am certainly not judging him, you or any member on this forum. I am concerned about the state it is in. You attack Milan for this and that, instead you should look yourself in the mirror. Are YOU good enough?
Finally when we see Devan attempt to poke fun with the concept of love by making this post it strikes me if it isn't exactly what he needs to get out of his situation which is apperently grave enough so that he is in this way.
Honestly it is naive to think that doing harm to people will be left unpunished. There is a price, and one day he'll realise it. Come that day we will see who's got the power.

SO WHAT ?
Sorry again, but you are talking like a psychiatrist, analysing angry posts and diagnosting pain. That´s way to far for me. People have feelings and it´s good to let them out. So let it be.
And I was talking about denying reality. AC Milan is not perfect. Berlusconi is not perfect, Galliani is not perfect. The players are not perfect.
I think you should realize that.
You say, that you are QUESTIONING the manner people talk in here, but that´s not true. You try to FORCE them to behave and speak the way you want.
You don´t have the right to do that. As long as people or posts don´t attack you personally, you just don´t have the right to critizise them the way you do. You are judging. You are threatening them with punishment. This is going much to far. Just stop this.

On the day of punishment I will repent oh joyous and loving Rico!!
Oh lovely Rico, how should I shape up and stop, I'm lacking the love of Milan and so have no understanding of how to be loving myself.
My pain and suffering are causing me to type all these angry posts about Milan, who as you said I'm not a true fan of, what must I do oh wonderful Rico?
I accept I'm not worthy of Milan's great love and am ashamed to look at myself in the mirror everyday. If I was I'm sure I'd feel juices within me flowering out with beautiful feelings of pure ecstasy as I look at the posters of Milan on my wall every night. Oh great Rico, this must be the feeling you get every night when alone in bed surrounded by Milan posters.
Oh effervescent Rico!! I apologise if you feel my remarks about the purity of love were in some way a joke. I did not mean it, I'm really serious, I'm only starting to understand my hatred of Milan and all the love it offers with it's pure yet not humble owner.
I will repent as I said earlier. I will try to no longer harm others as I have until now. Praise the Rico!!!

Who on Earth said I was forcing anyone to anything? Now at first it could seem like Dev is making fun for the sake of making fun, the truth is that he got a kick out of making fun about what life is all about.
Turns out the man has yet to find out what love truly means.

Chillout, this is a discussion where people come to discuss all things concerning Milan. People are entitled to vent their frustrations when things go bad, equally they praise the good things too. I can't speak about the frustrations of others, but my own stems from the fact Milan has dug itself an unnecessary hole given the squad we had in 2005. Despite being a fan, I have never admired our own philosophy.
I have no idea how this conversation about Berlu turns into love and hatred affair. But let me just say a couple of things to make things clear:
1) There are A LOT MORE HATEFUL comments by other posters on the forum; just come into the match-days chat and gosh, I went in there for the last game against Fiorentina and almost every single comment is about how bad Ancelotti is, how he ruined such and such, how slow seedorf is (which I'm guilty of), etc. to the extent that I have to quit the chat.
It was that unbearable.
Compared to those, Dev's comments are actually very minimal. For example, he may also dislike Ancelotti but he was able to express it in a much proper way.
2) You can rest assure that everyone loves Milan here, except Karim lol.
3) Let's keep it to the topic: Silvio Berlusconi.
Cheers,
J

I think one thing Belusconi has to be wary of is the backlash he will have from fans this summer. If we sell Kaka and do not make any improvements to the squad then i can guarantee Milan fans will protest by not buying tickets and merchandise.
For example from channel 4.
"While the transfer to Real Madrid looks imminent, the Rossoneri fans are still trying their best to stop Kaka from leaving San Siro.
The Ultras, who have already shown their anger against the Board in recent weeks, are currently protesting in front of Milan’s headquarters.
The fans are also claiming they will vote against Silvio Berlusconi at the next elections if Kaka leaves. “I will vote Podestà (Berlusconi’s candidate) only if we keep Kaka,” claim several placards.
The group of around 300 are being controlled by local police who, despite the tense atmosphere, are reporting no security problems.
The banners send clear messages to the Rossoneri hierarchy. “If you sell Kaka, you sell the club”, “President: before lots of honours, now disappointment only” and “Who sells Kaka will pay for it” are some of the other slogans."
Belusconi is a typical lying politican, who uses mind games to make him sound like a true hero. * Like what happened with Kaka and Man City. I am really starting to think he has lost the plot, either that or he really thinks everyone else is that stupid...
