When ever I read posts on 'Summer mercato' thread these days, I start feeling pain in my head and my eyes go dark. If I had to put the over all situation and atmosphere of MM in one word rite now, it would be 'Negative'. Some times after reading posts, I get the feeling as if ACM is going to be knocked out in UCL first round and will finish 5th or 6th in Serie A next season, as if ACM is completely dead and noting is left to cheer. Some things are bad, but there are positives and hope as well.

Since I am officially the 'Best Pundit of MM', so I feel that some things needs to be done. Lets be positive and hope for the best. Lets be OPTIMISTIC about 2009-10

All those MM can join this CLUB who feel that ACM would win at least 1 big title next season.

Join the club and be 'Optimistic' :5ok:

..Antonini..Nesta..Bonera..Zambrotta..

.........Gattuso...Pirlo...Flamini...........

..........Ronie.....Borrie...Pato.............

Lets be honest about it, this team can beat any one at any place, even Barcelona. And with the subs like, Seedorf, Janku, Pippo, Silva, Ambro and Oddo, I am really looking forward for a very good season to come. And also we have that American defender, with a very difficult name :devf:

2009-2010, just bring it on :pp20:

'5 Genuine Reasons'
That why the departure of Kaka is a positive move for ACM :)

(1) Kaka was never gonna be like Paolo Maldini, Baresi and Revira.

(2) He was becoming very injury prone.

(3) He was never going to be fit in the 4-3-3 formation of Leo. It was a like Leo or Kaka situation.

(4) His presence made others lazy, specially Seedorf and Pirlo, as every one just passed the ball to him and expected him to do piece of magic every minute on the field, which was bad for the team and practically impossible.

(5) He was losing his class after he changed his 'GREAT' longer hair style to a 'Pathetic' shorter hair style. He was no more the darling of San Siro. To confirm it I am attaching a couple of pics.

Good enough reasons to say that at the end the move will bring positives to ACM. Be optimistic about it :rock3:

Sorry mzk57, but im no optimistic, i have lost my faith my friend.
Our managment is destroing that team.We have so many years saying that we need to rebuilt our team and our man/ment sells the best player and the most promising youngster of France.
Then the mercato, they started with Adebayor, then with Dzeko, then with Eto, and now with a non class like the above Fabiano. But it seems that they can't even sign and him!
We are finished befire the season starts, remember my words. WE ARE FINISHED.

Very true! It was right to sell Kaka, but why the f*(k did we not include Hunter in the deal? That would have solved our problem straight away.....!

Like this thread, but I feel that creating such a thing is giving the likes of Berlu and Galliani a victory and a excuse to have spending at a minimum!

Being optimistic is one thing, but saying Kaka is a major reason why others like Mr. 4 time CL winner and Pirlo plays bad or Kaka won't fit into Leo's 4-3-3 are just crazy talks.
You don't see Xavi, Inesta, Pugol be lazy b.c of having Messi, Eto or Henry on the team.
Or how Rooney, Giggs, Vidic, and Carrick playing crap due to having CR7 next to them.
On top of that I don't think there is a coach in this world that would not want Kaka on his team.
Then you support Nesta, Bonera and Borriello whom all were injured last season, and state that Kaka is injury prone.

Thats not being realistic, thats living in a dream world, mate.

The thing is that what does it mean by being optimistic, does that mean the expectation of MIlan is finish in a CL spot and get into the knockout stage of CL next year, or actually challenging and winning CL and the league, or just beat Inter....

If being optimistic means Milan finishing top 4 in the league, then I am optimistic but if it means chellenging for titles, then I am a far way from that.

I mean be optimistic as in hoping we will sign 2 great defenders, 1 great striker, and another Mid. That inter might get off to a slow start, that we get that lucky last min goal against Bologna instead of them on us.

I dont want this team to win on luck and miracles, but i do want some of that luck and miracle to go our way. The years before we gave up so many games in the last 10 min, what if we can hold on to those and win them?

These are my optimistic thoughts. If most of us and most of all the fans around the world feel like this, its only a matter of time for things to change in Milan. Silivio cant get away with anything if less people show up to games, less people buy merchandise, etc. He might be stubborn but not stupid. He wants to make money and the fans make him that money.

So what if we ended up 4th this year. With Carlo and Kaka and Maldini we ended up 5th. It wont be easy at time ( bayern 4-1 Milan) but i will never stop supporting this team.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

The following would make me very hopeful-
we should sell Dinho, and use the money to buy G. Rossi. that would help our attack greatly. The energy difference would be very noticable, and it would add the attack very much. Dinho doesnt care anymore, and Rossi is hungry for titles. We could sell Dinho to Man City or somebody like that for close to 30 mil, and buy Rossi for 20-25. thats a profit.

we should buy Hernandes, he is the future and would be a great rotational starter for use. He is worth the 10-15 he is being offered for. just get it done already.

We should try to get a decent tall striker on loan for this coming season. it would be free and that would give us Pato, Boriello (he will improve), Inzaghi, Loaned Striker, and Zigoni as our top five strikers. thats not too bad. then next year, the loaned player goes home, Inzaghi can retire, Paloshini returns to take his spot, then we buy Dzeko. That would give us Pato, Dzeko, Paloshini, Boriello, and Zigoni, which is a huge amount of talent. That would be one of the best groups of strikers in Europe imo.

We should invest in a young keeper such as Federico Marchetti, Andrea Consigli, or Vincenzo Fiorillo to be our number one choice in the next few years. They are hugely talented and would be good for a long time

I remember reading a while back that Roma like Janku. Why not offer them him plus like 12 mil for Marco Motta? he is the best young wing back in italy, and he will be a star for years.

Our lineup for next year-

------Marchetti-------
-Motta--Nesta--Silva--Zambro-
---Flamini--Hernandes--Pirlo
--------Rossi------
--Dzeko--Pato

thats a frickin scary lineup. and we would have a strong bench, that would truly be a bright future. i pray it happens... please berlu, make it happen!

I'm optimistic about Milan for the future, but that doesn't mean I think we will win, or be close to winning a trophy this season. Well, maybe we will win Coppa Italia. :D

But I'm thinking long term, and I believe the attempt to fix our economy (and keep it within reason), and to focus on young players will be the smartest way to go. If that means we will have some years with little or no success then so be it.

The moment we sign, Fabiano or Huntelaar, fans here would start talking about trophy priority for next season :dcool:

@ Gabriel489
Dear I would love to have Kaka as the captain of AC Milan (with longer hair ofcourse  ), but the reality is that he isn't a red&black any more because of one reason or another. Now whats the point of saying taht I am depressed all the time that the best player has left? Lets hope for the best and it will come. We are 1 or 2 players away from being a very very good team :rone: :rock3:

And by the way, apart from me (becasue I am the best pundit of MM), how many of the members here were confident that AC Milan would win the UCL with Ricardo Olivera, Gila and Pippo as the strike force in 2007? but We won at the end :u56:

I always been a optimistic more than a pessimistic person, but at this point the "realistic" part of me is strongest. The realist in me gives a pessimistic outlook. Of course I am not dramatic like some and claim we will be relegated or anything, no I expect us to reach third place and not challenge for the scudetto at all if Galliani suddenly don't sign some real quality players. At least a fullback and a forward.

We have lost our best players, our biggest legend ever and our best young player. Apart from Silva we haven't really done anything to replace the void they left.

the positive thing is that we have a new manager and that he may shake up the squad and come with new ideas.

'5 Genuine Reasons'
That why the departure of Kaka is a positive move for ACM :)

Good enough reasons to say that at the end the move will bring positives to ACM. Be optimistic about it :rock3:

I can't believe anyone thinks that selling our best player, our most commited player and the most loved player by the fans. I can only come up with one positive.
1. We made money and his wages was high. (and also paid his brother...)

Here I answer your points.

(1) How is that even a point? Of course he can't be like a homegrown player that is a living legend. Is that really a reason for us to think this transfer was good? Just listen to him in Real Madrid, he still only talks about how he liked Milan and wanted to stay.

(2) He had some niggling injuries. He is on the other hand healthy now and was Brazils best player in the confederations club cup. He looked as fast as ever.

(3) Leonardo have hardly used this 4-3-3 formation this far. In fact he have used Ronaldinho in Kaka's favorite position behind two strikers the most. Kaka always played better there than as a second forward.

(4) I call this non-sense. Pirlo always run a lot. Flamini and Gattuso are the only two players running more than him and working more than him and that is not even his duty. Pirlo benefit from mobile players as his game was around distributing the ball to them. Seedorf also is not lazy, his stamina just don't keep up and he have these bad days.

(5) I suppose this is a joke. Of all Milan players none was more loved than Kaka by the fans and the curva. He was the player none jeered and we had the best fan song for. A song that was heard often and even made it into FIFA games. I yelled my lungs off singing it.

______________________________________

Here is my reasons why this was a bad move.

1. He is a marketing icon that bring fans to the club and create attention for the team.

2. He was very loyal and commited.

3. He was a model professional. (and to think we "replaced" him with the unprofessional party boy :drunk: )

4. The fans loved him and always supported him.

5. We won't see the money we got for him reinvested in the club.

6. He was the player that brought guaranteed success in UCL.

How are you feeling now Saliwonczyk? Finally Uncle Fester has got the perfect man for us in my opinion

Actually we ACM fans have a bit of history with KJ Huntelaar :u125:

I once started a poll in 2007 on MM with the title was 'Torres or Huntelaar?', and guess what Huntelaar got 34 votes, 5 more than Torres. Here is the link:
http://www.milanmania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21915

Similarly at the start of last season, in 2008, I started another poll to see that which striker/forward was most wanted by the fans of MM, and guess what Huntelaar was second with 13 votes behind Benzema 21. Here is the link:
http://www.milanmania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25506

Conclusion: ACM fans have got what they wanted, not just for now, but for the past 2-3 years. So for that, I must say,

"Thanks Uncle Fester! You Rock! :rock3:"

Pato + Huntelaar :pp20: Just bring it on :510:

Still optimistic guys?
I was wondering what this mercato, being nearly over, looks like at the end of the day?

And friendlies? We loose all the time. Are friendlies important? If they show your capacities at the present moment, then yes. If we loose and then say:"oh these are just friendlies and don't mean anything", then why play them in the first place?
Now, do we need reconstruction? Our Mgmt says no.

It seems that as soon as we build up a bad game or two, people tend to turn quite pessimistic.
Now, will that change anything regarding me being a Milan fan? No, but don't some of you feel that sometimes criticizing can also be interpreted as just plain and simple wanting the best for this team and not just stating the :"oh, I believe".......

We all want to believe, and every game I watch Milan play, I always believe in victory, but then again......

I for one voted the second option mainly because of our mercato so far ,who has been nothing short of disappointing but B&G still have the time to prove us wrong .

As far as friendlies go i believe there important and besides match fitness can show you a glimpse on how the next season will be like ,but only if the friendly schedule is planned right and not chaotic at best like Milan`s was this summer .

As things stand right now ,i believe we will finish in top 4 and maybe win the champions league, but the league is out of the question.

You should def. vote for being optimistic.

We need to sell/loan/trade our dead weights. Oddo, favali, di gennaro, zigoni (loan), borrielo.

And honestly at this point just give me some player with 70% heart and 30% skills. I need more Abate's on our team. I will really start to judge Leo when the season officially begins and all the trades etc. have been done. I think this year will be a rebuilding year but at the same time i dont want every game to be, "oh i wonder how much we will lose by"

And about Gooch. Yes I'm happy because Milan have a player from the states, but at the same time i want us to give the guy a chance. He probably has trained with his new team for a total of 2 weeks tops, he doesnt know the language, thiago at least has brazilians to make him feel at home. If he sucks in Jan. ill join you guys and want him gotten rid of. But until then i think when he gels with the team we will finally have some strength in the air in defense.

Football is also a game a luck. Maybe we will get some luck going our way this year, maybe win the last 5 min of the game. There will always be maybe's.

To all the Carlo fans your coach got his ass saved today in the 90 min. LOL 2-1 over hull city at home. (wasnt hull city the last place team a year ago?)

My point is give Leo a chance, give this team a chance until Jan. Im very optimistic but im not stupid enough not to be a realist. But i cant judge after one game or two (after full team training and gelling time) but Jan is more than enough time to make some judgments.

As things stand right now ,i believe we will finish in top 4 and maybe win the champions league, but the league is out of the question.

the league is out of question, but we maybe win ch.l.??????
in serie a there is inter and juve..
in europe there are 7-8 wc teams some even better than inter or juve,we have to be more than lucky to not meet any of those(thing impossible) and surpass some..if barca-manchester-chelsea for eg are on our way,we re 99% out..

there is absolutely no chance we win ch.l. as we are right now..

The logic is kind of weird, but it's kind of true: We usually do well in CL but not in Serie A. Not this year though; we don't even have quality players to do well in CL. *sigh*...

In my opinion AZ is right. We should finish in the top 4, we probably wont win the scudetto and the CL can be won by any decent side with luck on their side. It might be a slim chance, even an anorexic chance, but it is still a chance.

Most likely, a season of no trophies, not even the Berlusconi trophy.

isnt winning the CL positive enough? :D

I would sign for that scenario! every year :D

Well i guess ,but i want us to win serie A for a change witch is significantly harder to do .

You should def. vote for being optimistic.

We need to sell/loan/trade our dead weights. Oddo, favali, di gennaro, zigoni (loan), borrielo.

And honestly at this point just give me some player with 70% heart and 30% skills. I need more Abate's on our team.

**** Inter!!!!!!!!!!

I agree about selling /trading etc our dead weight ,problems is they aren't any teams willing to take them.Partial exchange seems the ideal solution right now and i hope fester works something out .

About the Chelsea games i have to disagree there ,they did not win only based on luck ,they dominated there opponent and were unlucky not to give them a trashing ,but i do agree luck is big part of football.

Witch brings me to my next point the champions league(see below)

the league is out of question, but we maybe win ch.l.??????
in serie a there is inter and juve..

Like K77SH C& Jeff pointed out the Cl is a competition were luck matters a lot and the european pedigree also counts.Sure you could argue that this side is a little worse the the 2007 champions league winning team but its also better the the 2004 Porto one .

If our players are on there best day and we have luck on our side in the knockout stages ,we can win it.

But the league is different ,you can`t expect to be lucky for that many games ,you need a squad that can bring good performances week in week out and we simply don`t have that now .

The logic is kind of weird, but it's kind of true: We usually do well in CL but not in Serie A. Not this year though; we don't even have quality players to do well in CL. *sigh*...

Don`t be so sure about that,we have them but they need to step up there game.

In my opinion AZ is right. We should finish in the top 4, we probably wont win the scudetto and the CL can be won by any decent side with luck on their side. It might be a slim chance, even an anorexic chance, but it is still a chance.

Nailed it and lest hope we win something .

With Berlusconi nowdeclaring the mercato over, what do thos who insisted we will sign a striker, createive midfielder and fullback say?

We have basically spent the money from the sale of Gourcuff on signings and Berlusconi has pocketed the rest.

I think it all depends on the start of the season, if Leo gets off to a good start and the team gain confidence, who knows what could happen this year. I think the Scudetto will be tough, Inter have too much quality and depth but I would never admit to defeat so early. However, as proven in the past, Milan should never be written off in the Champions League. Let people doubt the Rossoneri, no-one gave us a hope last time we won! Pato will fill Kaka's boots and provide more goals! while Ronnie will probably not reach his best but will be a massive improvement this year....
check out this website, its on point with all the views in the forum and has a lot of articles relating to milan..

I'm not so optimistic to say we have a good chance of doing the double but i don't feel we're that different from previous seasons. Since when did Milan ever perform well in preseason?

In 02-03 iirc we lost damn near every friendly game as well. We dominated Europe after that when no one expected us to. Without any so called galactico or star player.'

Also everyone thought we were gone when Sheva left, when he seemed to be the only shining light in our team the season we lost in semis to Barca. Kaka stepped up and we took 07 with style; again when everyone said we wouldn't.

So now, with Ronnie and Pato as new additions, and stalwarts Rhino, Ambro, Pirlo and Seedorf still here, why can't we believe?

Though I do think we need a few minor changes. Especially the addition of maybe 2 promising centre backs. And we just need to pray that Nesta regains his form and stays injury free for most of the season. Now that's being optimistic ;)

I like your optimism, but...

Here's the reason why we won't 'do a Barca': the lineups...

Valdés; Alves, Puyol, Piqué, Abidal/Maxwell; Touré, Xavi, Iniesta; Messi, Ibra, Henry.

Abbiati, Zambro, Nesta, Thiago, Janku; Gattuso, Pirlo, Flamini; Ronaldinho; Pato, Huntelaar.

The goalkeepers are about even; Abbiati was better last season, but otherwise they're pretty even.

Our central defence might be better than Barca's, but if Nesta gets a serious injury (which is, sadly, not unlikely) - then our backups aren't too promising.

In regards to the FBs, midfield and attack Barca are far better, not only individually, but as a team they're even more superior.

Obviously I'd love nothing more than to be proven wrong :)

Utterly simplistic and ridiculous reasoning.....many of the "pessimists" are at heart optimists. But believing that we are any threat to Inter with no fullbacks and worn out old Pirlo/Ronaldinho isn't being pessimistic it's beyond unrealistic.

I'm curious to know the opinion of the 'Optmistic Boys Club' about our outstanding performance on today's derby...
Last night was very painful actually :proud: Now if you are a normal obersver like many of the pessimistic boys club, then you can say, thats it, ACM's season is over. But if you are a deep and technical observer like me :respect: , then it brings certain positives to mind, e.g.

(1) B&G could get you VDV in the next 24 hours or at least go for him in the January transfer window, which would be awesome. :pp20:

(2) This is probably the last time we see Borrie + Pato. From now own a genuine Pato + Huntelaar partnership and I can see a lot of goals with it.

(3) Leo could use a simple 4-4-2 formation and start from scratch, instead of trying fantacy formations.

(4) How lucky we are to have 4th choice gk, who can keep the score line significantly low in a big match. :grinser:

This kind of defeat is nothing new for ACM. Once in a while we are used to see these kind of upsets. e.g. Deportivo 4-0 (2004), PSV 3-1 (2005), Liverpool 3-3 (2005) & don't tell me that ACM of that time wasn't the best team of the world :devs: Its nothing more than bad luck to end up 4-0. If it wasn't for the sending off, it would have ended differently.

Last season Man Utd lost 4-1 at home to Liverpool and yet managed to win the league. The same will happen again this year, but in Serie-A. We will win the league. And honestly do you really care at the end of season about this 4-0 if we Scudetto to celebrate with? Be an 'Optimist'

I will probably not watch Milan much this season. I have been a fan since 1994, when I was 11 years old, and I usually watch every game I can, but this year... well, compare it to watching someone you really love get beaten up and humiliated every week, without being able to do anything about it. Maybe some people will think I'm a ****ty fan, but it's not that I don't want to support the team. It's just that watching what's going on now is extremely painful, and I can't deal with an entire season like this.

Also, I am not going to spend money on club merchandise, nor am I going to the San Siro this season. This will be my protest against the club's management, who I believe have lost all desire to keep Milan among the biggest and best teams in Europe, or even among the better teams in the Serie A. I am not going to give them my money so that they can continue their mismanagement of the club.

Well in that case, we are having one mother of a domestic right now:coffee:

So he's such a great coach, but we're still going to win the league? Please explain.
Sorry for late reply, but my wireless was out of balance, so no internet :)
Jose is the best in the world and no one comes close to him. His Inter side will finish this season just the way ACM did finish in 2004-05. Remember how ACM should have finished with Scudetto & UCL, but finished with nothing. Similiarly who would have thought that Real Madrid would have won the La Liga title back in 2006-07, when it was almost unthinkable to beat Barcelona, but Madrid some how did win it on the last day. Some how I just feel that we will grind results 1-0 and some luck here and there and just nick pass Inter and Juve at the end :u125: The win becomes more enjoyable when its unexpected. So for one last time, be an optimist and hope for the best. Just join us please
Do you really believe that we can do that with the current squad?
Oh yeah, I do. We will be the Serie-A champions in 2010, mark my words. Make a print of this webpage and paste it on the walls of your room :bri: Its a great chance for you to become a millionaire, just go to big betting zone and bet that ACM would end up as Serie-A champs and possibly as UCL winners. i can see you ending up with a lot of cash $$$$$$ :pp20:

Note: Make no mistake about it, like others I do hate B&G and if I could I would have ordered to tie B&G upside down by the roof of San Siro during all the home matches this season :hammer: Although I do respect Berlu for being a Romantic man at the age of 72 and still fliting with an 18 year old Italian model :rr29: Thats awesme

I kinda liked the way we looked against OM but im just confused on what line up to make the strongest team.

3-4-2-1 or 3-4-3 whatever way you look at it. Is this something that would work If we have Thiago-Nesta-Onyewu on the back line.

The only reason why ACM is not winning is the PATHETIC GUTLESS LEONARDO. Whats different from the Carlo's formation rite now? Absolutely nothing and its becasue of Leo. How can this loser can't understand that ACM can't afford to play with 4-3-1-2 any more. Play a straight forward 4-4-2 and you would see the difference. I have no problem with the current squad with the exception of the tooth-fairy, its Leo who is becoming a coward with his empty head. He don't have any thing to offer to ACM. We need to sack him and bring some one better. Even I can do a better job than his pathetic ideas.

Well let me make an official announcement here:
I have absolutely no hope what so ever left in Leo's pathetic tactics. They are worse than Carlo of the last 2 years with us. But make no mistake about it, I am fully confident about the ACM squad apart from the younger brother of d!da :googly:, called as Ronaldinho. This guy has earned a lot, so now he should go back to Brazil and open a casino or a night club etc and enjoy women and parties there. Football is no longer a related thing to him.

All ACM needs is a man with some kind of sense to make full use of the available players

-------------------GK-----------------
---Zomby---Nesta---Ony-----Silva-----
---Abate--Seedorf---Flamini--Anonini---
-----------Huntelaar---Pato-------------

OR

------------------GK----------------------
---------Ony-----Nesta---Silva-------------
-----------------Flamini---------------------
---Zomby-----Pirlo-----Seedorf-----Antonini--
-----------Huntelaar------Pato----------------

Maybe these lineups won't beat Inter, Bayern or Barca, but surely its good enough to beat Udinese and Livorno etc. But of course it becomes impossible when your coach is a gutless gentleman, who has no idea of his own and borrowed the formation idea from Carlo.

Why do u guys bash Gooch? We all say pre-season doesnt count, he has never gotten chances to play yet and its official to you all that he sucks.

Im a Hunter fan but if you guys judge like this, then he too sucks and should be benched, so should Pato, etc etc etc.

I dont think he is a Nesta or he ever will be but why the **** does Milan get players that they will never ever play? How does a ****ing guy who scored 2 own goals get to start over him please explain?

Believe me ACM always suffer because of the gutless coaches. Carlo was fantastic in period of 2003-2007. But then som thing happened to him and we lost every thing. Now this empty head (Leo) is doing the same thing. He started like a man with some kind of ambition and new tactics is mind with talks like a new formation and 4-3-3 etc etc, but he is doing the same thing which Carlo did in his last 2 years. I can't believe that a man who has played international football doesn't understand that for the 4-3-1-2 formation you need a Lampard and Riberry type of players who could replace the Old Pirlo and Kaka. He knows that he has only got Old Seedorf and tooth-fairy Ronaldinho and Pirlo in poor form and yet he tries to play the same formation again and again :wallbang: Just change the system for God sake and try some new players like Abate, Antonin and Ony.

Ony was impressive in the Confed Cup. We don't have much of a choice. Chelsea under Jose played with this back line:

---Fareirra----Terry----Carvalho----Gallas-----

and they won 2 league titles. So a CD can play as a LB, specially if you have Kaladze and Janku (DF) as the other choices.

Plus Zambrotta is still a very good FB. I don't have any problem with him in the starting 11, unless we can get Philip Lahm

Season is long. We are looking happy, cofident, and united. I love seeing this Milan.

Inter will Fck up, when they do we need to be close and make our move.

CL, with some luck too we have the skill to win it. But we need Nesta to never get injured.

Indeed we are in a marvelous bit of form at the moment but the table is still extremely congested in our area so let's not think we're home clear. We're only 5,6 and 7 points ahead of 3rd, 4th and 5th place respectively.

That being said we're also only 6 points behind Inter and the season is long and anything can happen. One thing is certain though. Leo has this team playing the best football they've played..probably since 2006.

AC Milan won UCL in 2007 playing great football imo.

I am extremely disappointed with this Huntelaar situation. Leo likes Bori, ok fine, but at least use Huntelaar as a super sub. Instead he is bringing on Inzaghi :wallbang: Its like Leo just wants Huntelaar out of ACM. Shame on you Leo. :p231:

U should watch the Coppa game and u`ll understand why is Pippo in front of Hunter in the picking order. Hunter was horrible, didnt do anything to prove that he is worth the Milan shirt (he was playing with the second team, OK) however he could have tried more, could have shown a bit of grinta to make Leo think. On the other hand Pippo scored a great individual goal...had some offside wrongly given. he was basically creating chances for himself. Trying to say the least.

What bothered me the most is that Hunter was kinda offended that he was playing a coppa game like he was someone important. And u have a 36 year old guy who has won every ****ing thing that is to win, is the best goalscorer in European competitions and runs his heart out.

If u dont believe me..check the facts. Hunter was second choice for a month now, its after the coppa game that he lost is place to Pippo.

Believe me I was frustrated wiht Hunter not getting at least 30 min. every game.. But after that i`m with Leo on the issue!!

I officially announce to be the Leonardo-Hater-No#1

The news that Huntelaar could leave AC Milan and join the evil English clubs is killing me. If a playboy and useless player like Borriello can score few goals after getting regular games, surely, SURELY, Huntelaar gonna do better.
Now don't be fickle and admit it that at the beginning of the season, Borri was playing worse than Huntelaar, and SUCKED BIG TIMES, but Leo kept playing him, that is why he is scoring some goals now. I bet that if Huntelaar had got proper playing time, he would have scored twice the number of goals of Borrie. Just 5 damn starts is not enough to judge a player

Yes i am still optimistics after the main reason why ACM is not at the top of Serie-A (Leonardo) will be kicked out at the end of the season and the injury prone Pato will be sold to Real Madrid/Chelsea and Benzema will be brought in along side Vidic and few other big names. AC Milan will be a winning force again.

Its simple to put all the blame on B&G. I agree they both are criminals. But Leonardo is equally to be blame for the lack of guts and being coward and his lack of decision making at crucial stages has destroyed AC Milan chances of winning the league. If we had Jose Mourinho, we would be in the semis of UCL and at the top of Serie-A rite now.

The AC Milan's problems solution is very simple:

GET RID OF LEONARDO

Optimistic Boys I bring you some bitter news to ground your irrational exuberance

Reasons not to be Optimistic:
1) Our main rival in Serie A is superior to us in every department, we can expect more humiliation in coming derbies.
2) It is unlikely that the club will bring in any big players in the January transfer window.
3) If all goes well and management get the right players and make the right decision then it will take at least 3 years for Milan to be on the same level as Inter and probably 4 to 5 to create a team capable of winning the CL. This is a best case scenario.
4) The majority of our top players are over 30.

So all in all, our chances of winning the CL again any time soon are pretty slim and so is our chances of winning the scudetto. The most feasible goal for next season will be to just qualify for CL for the following season.
