Espanyol captain Daniel Jarque has died after he suffered a heart attack following a training session, the club have confirmed in a statement.

Sad.... Hope Espanyol can pick themselves up and try to continue without him..... Hope they will do well and devote this season to the man!

R.I.P Daniel,i feel very sorry for the family,really to bad this,he was so young and just captain.

I think the clubdoctors should be keeping a eye on the heart conditions of players because after Puerta now Daniel....
