Not to annoy anyone by this thread but honestly where is Milans money. I know some people will say that MGT steal it but really for a club that has one the CL(twice and 3 finals) and Serie A Euro super cup (2) World club cup and coppa Italia all in the last 6 years. Why is there no money we have won all that recently owe no money are owned by a multi billionaire yet cannot spend 5 million in the mercato.
I do not know what has happened , I mean we brought in 83 million on transfers Kaka = 68 million euro , Gourcuff = 15 million thats 83 million take away 60 for books that leaves 23 Huntelaar cost 5 initially prob his 2.5 mill wages. That would of at least left 15 million to spend on players.
We needed a LB signed Cissokho but we all know what happened. And if anyone believes that money will be spent in Jan or next summer wake up. Mgt have lost interest so please sell its AC Milan not AC Berlusconi.
Well if anyone knows why there might be no money let us know because its strange that we could not spend 10 million , and were outspent by Burnley , Fulham , Wolves , Catania , Bologna the list goes on.
And even though we missed on CL in 08/09 that would not be the only reason, as to make 60 million by winning that we would have to beat everyone 100 -0 and get the biggest ever payout off of sponsors. So that is not enough books are not enough id really love to know why we have 0 money to spend.

I agree with all the questions you ask in your post.
I think the problem is that we're spending far more than we're making. That was the reason why we almost sold Pirlo to Chelsea this summer, and it's probably the reason why we haven't made any significant additions to the squad in this transfer window.
Berlusconi said something about older players being expensive, as their wages are too high, and that is probably a big part of our problem. From Dida to Dinho, most of our aging squad is making millions of euros every year, and when this is combined with the financial crisis, which means that Berlusconi can't invest as much in the team as he has in the past (though his position as the PM of Italy probably also has something to do with this), we have a financially difficult situation.
People are asking why Juventus can afford to spend more on the market than us. The answer is probably that their players, on average, make a lot less money than ours, which again means that they have more money to spend on the market.
As for Inter, Moratti does not seem to care how much he spends on the market. Milan is run in a different way, where the goal of the club is to be able to exist without financial support from Berlusconi.
Anyway, that we can't get rid of a player like Massimo Oddo is evidence of the difficult situation we're in. While he's not a terrible player, very few clubs have shown interest in signing him, probably due to his age and wage demands. And I think this is the case with many of our players. They're practically impossible to get rid of, with the exception of players like for example Pato, who we desperately need to keep.
The management is to blame for this though, as for many years it was their policy to sign older "champions." Now these players are too old to be useful, but the club still has to pay their ridiculous wages.

Yeah I understand but at the moment because of our squad we are in serious danger of not making the CL. It is not impossible that Roma , Fiorentina , Genoa and Napoli can all finish above us. Sure Pato is great and will score 15 - 20 goals. But Huntelaar needs service from the midfield and the wings something that at the moment we are not capable of.
Maybe the derby was a 1 off but if we look back further our problems are huge.We have a slow aging imobile midfield only two great defenders and a good keeper (Abbiati) who is injured. If everyone fires on all cylinders maybe we'll be okay.
I think the problem with Dinho is that at Barca he had quality players all around him , that passed the ball well and quick creating space for Dinho. We were one of the best possession team's around but that was 4 years ago now we are slow.
Could you imagine Man Utd still playing Beckham , Scholes , Giggs , Stam , Yorke , Butt and Henning Berg this is the position we are in. Even though two of those guys are stll there they only play 1 in 3 games.
We or rather MGT have let the squad slide sooo much it is in dire shape. Also for a team with no money we actually need 15 - 20 players brought in in the next 3 or 4 years. This means we will only sign free old or cheap players. Sure alot of youth has come in and how many will become great ?.
Id even toy with the idea of playing Seedorf instead of Pirlo , he is burn't out dosnt do much gives the ball away cheaply. We need a shake up . Maybe go with.
----------Abbiati---------------------
Zambro---Silva---Nesta(C)----Antonini--
---------Flamini----------------------
Abate----Seedorf---------Dinho------
----------Pato----------------------
--------Huntelaar--------------------
And even though I have Pato there he is free to go where he wants. Maybe its a rubbish team but not worse than that on last Saturday.
B&B is always ready to offer an explanation (and excuse) when the management is really at fault. Kind of at a lost now even for me...
In times of economic crisis company leaders have to be carful what they do.
No unnecessary spendings on anything in order to save as much jobs as possible.
Berlusconi as prime miniser of Italy and being at the head of several companies has to set an example. He has to save jobs in Italy, create jobs and stop the crisis.
Do you guys really think Berlusconi can afford to spend 100mln for a football club while at the same time he sacks 100 people because one of his companies is going downhill? No, what he does is invest money to save his companies.
If he saves Milan, the whole government will be ****ting on his head.
Offcourse he spends money on hookers but hey , that's like e few 1000 euros, no millions.
Now this doesn't take away that I hate Berlu's guts and I hate what he is doing to the club. If you sum up the facts one could say we as fans and Milan in general were plain robbed.
Our money? It goes in to the pocket of Galliani and Berlusconi and other 'big men', let's not forget their fortune also suffers from the crisis, so they have to thicken it.
lets all hope we don't become like deportivo la coruna, leeds united, Ajax, Torino e.t.c. ; Fallen giants.
