The Beckham part I'm pretty sure of, although I don't think he is the solution to our new project of "renewal" as everyone in Milanello are saying these days.

As for Rafinha, you really got to wonder why we didnt sign him this summer. What's the point in waiting til Jan, by then we might be out of contention in the league...As for this issue about Oddo having to leave before we can sign another wingback, if memory serves me right, we did sign (almost) Cissokho before anyone left, no?

$$$$$$$$$. He can (and will) evoke article 17 and walk on a free in summer. He is still upset w/ schalke for fining him $750,000 for going to olympics last summer (if u remember schalke, werder w/ diego, barca w/ messi etc didnt want there stars going)... but schalke went a step farther... even after fifa rules to let the mgo, they still said no and fined him. He wants out.... point being in january, he can easily be 3-5 mil just so they get something

I have to say I like beckham, I also liked how he played for us. but I dont want him back... He is AGAIn a short term solution. we should sign Hernanes in january! :D

There was also news about Bale. I dont really know him but I've nothing but bad things about him. Rafinha would be fine, and should be here already.

Sad thing is, alot of teams can pay for 3-5MIl for Rafinha.

rive in Rafinha may arrivie in January but we should try and raid Shaktar even though most of their players will be cup-tied, how ever we can still use them to make an assault on the League.

Hmm, is Schalke in CL this year? If not, are they in the Europa Cup? Whether or not they play Rafinha in these competitions will give us a crystal clear idea so to whether he's on sale this January.

Schalke isn't in the CL or Europa. This makes Rafinha's transfer easier...

Rafinha is Brazilian, young and a rightback.

But why does that automatically make him a good choice for Milan?
He hasnt managed to help his side get into Europe, how will he help us?
As far as I know he has not made any impact for the national team?
Right now, he isnt even getting any champions league experience
From what little I know of him, his strengths are in defending, so what makes us think he will be any more solid than Jankulovski or Antonini other than the ridiculous assumption that everyone is better than them.

Firstly... Brazilian fullbacks are very creative, they not only run up and square the ball everytime like they are programmed... they have the ability to cut inside and be a creative mid with excellent vision and good passing ability...

His team not getting into Europe is not about Rafinha not helping (Portugal and france are struggling to make the world cup and they have lots of good players)

Many good brazilians didnt make much impact on the national team because of the vast amount of quality available... Serginho wasnt a first choice left back, Sonny Andrerson, Elber or Mario jardel were never given much opportunity with brazil, so too was Chris from Lyon, Djalminha and Dede...

He is Better than Janku in attack and defense... if janku mistake causes a goal against Milan his game is done... and you cant count on him to get forward and create one much less to score...
Our best wide plays we had in many years came from Brazilian fullbacks with very creative abilities...

While I am not going to doubt his ability as I have never seen him.

I hope you arent basing your opinion on the fact that he is Brazilian alone. Has Milan not learned from Mattioni that not all Brazilians are amazing.

Frankly speaking, Rafinha is a fantastic talent. The only reason why he isn't playing for Brazil is because he is a right-sided full back and he has to compete with Maicon and Dani Alves for that spot, not exactly shameful for being kept out of the team for that.

Rafinha is a great talent, I've really believed in him for years, I even suggested on this forum that we should go for him, because he has always shown the ability to push forward and defend. He really is an all-action RB.

If Milan were to buy Rafinha I would be tremendously excited. In a perfect world, I'd grab Crisicto and Rafinha, that would be a fullback pair for 7 years.

Well, he has never been in the Tottenham team when they have won a game. Every game he has been in, they have lost as far as i know. Great stats them.
