FIFA 10: your favourite Milan team & formation

I've pretty much bought every single FIFA game since 2002, and they only kept getting better. I just recently got the latest one, FIFA10. I've pretty much been hooked on it for the past week, its pretty addictive. Its almost like a simulation of the real thing, except for the fact that some players abilities are slightly overrated and others underrated. Ronaldinho has a total ability average of 84, his fitness is quite low, they rated it at 64 I think. I think Pato was the highest rated Milan player with 85. Huntelaar also has a high rating of 83.

I play the following formation:

Oddo Nesta Thiago Silva Zambro


Gattuso(83)
Pirlo(85) Ronaldinho(84)

Seedorf(82)

Pato(85) Huntelaar(83)

Other forwards ratings are:
Borrielo 80 (he is a bit slow and ineffective, but good as a support striker alongside speedy Pato)
Inzaghi (either 77 or 78), I haven't played with him yet.

Surprisingly, Huntelaar manages to score atleast two goals in every game??

I also bought Cassano(85), Hamsik(81) and Fabiano(85). I use them as Super subs. I use Cassano as a CAM at times.

Its a pity we sold Gourcoff though, he is rated 85 in FIFA10. I chose to buy Hamsik though, because I wanted a faster CAM/

Another thing, Milan is no longer a 5 star team on FIFA 10, its now a 4.5 star team :(

i dont agree, i think hunter sucks and i cant do anything with him! i like playing with juve though, giovinco is so fast in the game. Barca are also too strong..

When using Hunter, you need to use him as a pure striker, you can't use him to take on defenders or outpace them. I use Pato's speed and dribbling to run at defences and pull them wide, then thread a ball into the box for Hunter to finish.

I generally stick with the formation, and can play against all the 5 star teams, though I don;t have a very good counter attack, and the team is slow at gettting forward. Anyway I can change that??

Hunter is slow, but his finishing is excellent..he rarely misses...

i like basing my team on faster players therefore i dont play slower ones even though they are better. example pirlo and seedorf are pretty slow. I also moved gattuso to defense and play abate as right forward

I know this is Milan team and formation thread...but I find Milan too easy to win with in manager mode.

Therefore I've tried VFB Stuttgart. In my 4th season as manager currently. Won the Europa Cup in my 2nd season, knocked out of CL by Barcalona in my 3rd season and in Europa League again in my 4th after missing out on CL.

I find playing with smaller teams and smaller budgets much more challenging.

What I do is muddle around with players and team. I like Dida but think he's useless as is abbiati (both real life and on game). Instead of playing either of them in goals I go for Borriello whom I like as a goalkeeper as he saves like the other 2 but is a lot faster. I have Pato right back with Dinho left back. Pato I think is great on the game in that position because of his pace and ability to beat players. I picked Dinho for his flare and ability to beat players. Centre half Favalli and Onyewu simply because they are big and very strong. I remember the team I played in had 2 guys that were as strong as ox's and towered above all. They won everything and when they never someone always got crunched (ive had Gooch sent off every second game ;))
On the wings I have Abate on right as his pace is well matched to Pato's and on the left Seedorf(Seedorf is Seedorf). In the middle of the park I have Rodney Strasser, this guy is fast and really keeps popping up all over the game :5ok:.
Up Behind the front 2 i deploy Pirlo behind young Verdi (above average but ok) and Dida who is a strong bulky target man.

Please tell me some main things about Xbox and Xbox Live. Do users play online games with each other online on Internet Explorer? Is it possible to play Fifa games online on Xbox Live?

Hey,

Xbox 360 enables players from all over to play each other through xbox live. When playing you can chat with other players using a mic which is good. Game play is the best yet (like many I have been a keen follower of the game). Not sure what browser it uses, I just sign in and about a minute later im playing :pp20:

EA are concentrating more on console(ps3, xbox), the pc version is not as good as the console.

I just had a day Fifa 10 on ps3 listen to this for ultimate harshness. I was managing Bayer Leverkusen assembled a nice team got off to a rocky start 5 points after 8 games second from bottom I then went on a 12 game winning streak , my next 8 games i won 5 five drew 1 lost 2 , so Im on top by 12 points my motive was to qualify for the europa league , 28 games gone Im leading the league by 12 points and I get saked WTF WTF WTF!!!!

Thats a harsh sacking ! I got sacked from Monaco and moved onto a 2nd division in Ireland to rebuild my reputation, placed 2nd but noone offered me a job ! So i restarted with Stuttgart lol.
