[quote] -Adriano is impossible, simple as that.
-Ronaldo seems possible in the not too distant future seeing all the Real Madrid trouble. But he is soon 28 yo and might be too expensive. But remains the best striker in the world.
-Gilardino has to prove it for another full season. Talk about him in 8 months, not now.
-Torres looks like the best bet atm. All this "Spaniards don't do it in Serie A" is crap, imo. Primera Division is currently the best league in the world and there is no logical argument why Spaniards can't do it in Serie A. Farinos, Jose Mari and Xavi Moreno were "just" talented prospects, no proven world class players. Mutu, Veron and Crespo flopped in EPL, so what? All three were either as unproven as the Spaniards (Mutu, only 1 good season) or over the hill. That makes Mendieta the only flop, but imo he was just overrated as hell. Even in his Afterlazio life he nver became his former self again. [quote]
-adriano i agree is almost impossible but its never wrong to try and to dream of it.
-ronaldo to me sounds like the most logical approach and i alreadt said alot about him, but not sure wether real would sell him.
-gilardino is already proven IMO, if he has a abd year this year he is not to blame because parma need a miracle right now, i think 23 goals in half a season speaks for itself and is the most logical answer and theres no reason why torres would be the better bet considering theyre almost the same age and the fact that gila scored more goals in a more defensive league as well as the fact that he had a good summer tournament in the under-21s while torres was disspointing by all means. oh and gila already ahs serieA experience, torres doesnt.
-with what was said about torres, i also belive in ur statement "All this "Spaniards don't do it in Serie A" is crap" ... but his poor showing at the euros gave me the feeling he is a bit overrated, but he had a good game vs barca yesterday so that cant be taken away from him.
the best answer is adriano i think but he is the most ditant answer too... the smartest buy is ronaldo but in a way its unlikely... the most logical is therefore gilardino i guess.
