They tried all the best to put Berlusconi in shame, interviewing baised characters without any balancer between the different opinions, talking a lot of rubbish and manipulating facts or hiding other truly crucial which were shot on every Italian tv in the same moment, like the stalemate at the Senate (just mentioned) which meant the possible draw of elections.
These journalists were once again proved wrong by the half of Italian people who don't accept any patronising suggestion or manipulation over its own business and refuse proudly any break into its own sovereignty from biased medias
