Graeme C is correct. I read a similar thing in Tgcom.it...
My Italian is ok but I am pretty sure I understood the gist of the article.
It seems that the clubs who will be heavily punished are Juve and Lazio with both risking life in Serie B. Milan and Fiorentina may be punished though it appears that Milan, at least, did not know about the match-fixing. They could be penalized by points.
It is rumoured that Inter will be awarded the 2005/06 Scudetto, if Milan are to be penalized (which does not make sense since they knew little or nothing about it).
If the all the broadsides today that are heralding a demise for Juve are indeed true, then Juve better prepare life for Serie B.
Frankly, to tell you the truth...sometimes it is better to be investigated like this and come out clean if we have not done anything. Of the games listed that are believed to be fixed...one also involves Inter-Fiorentina 3-2 (20-3-05).
If Inter are in the same position as us -- i.e. victims of Moggi's network -- then our fate should be like theirs is...no punishment. It seems that Moggi has influenced refs to call games...that means that don't be fooled by the notion that because Milan lost some games they could not have fixed them. Moggi seems to have conditioned referees to work their magic to get a result.
It is a sad day for Italian football.
