First, we need to reinforce this team even if we fail to make it to the group stage. So its not like we cant get players now, for example we can buy Ibra and Gallas in spite of what happens against Red Star next game.
Second, because its not a slam dunk we will make it after winning only 1-0. I saw a terrible team playing against us, very limited, and I dont believe its because of Milan. But when you play in a hostile pitch you never know and its only one soccer match that can go either way.
And we wouldnt have to wait too long to know our fate. Tonight showed again we need a couple good strikers.
Whats the difference between playing UCL and playing only Serie A, transfers wise? Thats important to answer, but as I said, I would move foward with negotiations as if we would play only Serie A football and then if we make it to UCL, splash our money to reinforce every line.
