i agree with Jims assessment, he showed a few nice touches and linked well at times but overall he (like everyone else playing) didnt seem all that interested.
England didnt make much but controlled the game and deserved to win, the Dutch got a late equaliser from a long throw in after not really threatening much from open play, despite having plenty of possession in harmless areas. Im glad Richards did well though as i tipped him here in a thread on young talents last season
, he's only 18 but handled the step up well and has a bright future in the game...shame he plays for the bitter blue half, though i doubt he'll stay there for long
