Apart from that squad, there's another squad for the Under 21 2009 championship qualifier on Friday against Albania. You'd think they'd save qualifying till AFTER the competition but I guess that's too much to ask. Anyway here's the 2009 qualifying squad for this Friday. Players must be born after January 1st 1986.
Quote:
Goalkeepers: Consigli (Sambenedettese), Sirigu (Palermo)
Defenders: Belmonte (Bari), Bocchetti (Frosinone), Criscito (Genoa), Marzoratti (Empoli), Motta (Udinese), Rickler (Chievo), M. Rossi (Modena)
Midfielders: Cigarini (Parma), Candreva (Ternana), De Ceglie (Juventus), De Martino (Udinese), Dessena (Parma), Marchisio (Juventus), Paonessa (Vicenza), Russotto (Treviso)
Forwards: Acquafresca (Treviso), Giovinco (Juventus), Lupoli (Derby County), G. Rossi (Parma)

There's the much hyped Giovinco from Juventus. I have an exam Friday but I hope someone can watch the match to give his/her opinion on him. |
