guys, I think there is a dif here - I believe in those cases, the player himself first signed with one club then with another but in both cases the club, that owned the player, had NOT reached an agreement or authorized him to do so for any other clubs ... basically, it was a case of the player signing two dif contracts behind the back of the club owning his rights. In that case, both clubs have equally valid pretentions towards the player as they have his siggy and they both can reach an greement with the club-owner, while he can play for only one, not both.
Here Milan has not done that with Suazo, we directly closed the deal with Cagliari, the club owning the player, who before that had come very close to finishing things up with Inter but it didn't happen for one reason or another.
