Berlusconi's funds are not keeping this club as a global power house. Actually, the way he has been spending the last few seasons is killing the team. In a mere few seasons, we went from the best team in the league to second rate in the Serie A. At this rate, we will be fighting for UEFA spot every year in Serie A very very soon.

Berlusconi saved this team once from Serie B, but that doesn't mean nobody else could do the job. And now that he has lost his passion for the team, it is time for him to step down and get somebody else who actually wants the team to do well to take over. Maybe he is a Berlusconi or maybe a new owner from somewhere else, it doesn't matter, as long as he cares about the taem enough to actually spend some money on it.

I understand your gratitude towards Berlusconi and his accomplishments, but blindly following him won't do this team any good. He has been running this team like crap for a while now and that is the truth. Maybe he was once a great leader and maybe he still is, but as long as he doesnt produce results for this team, he needs to be replaced.
It would be a distaster if the club came into foreign hands, I think. Unlike in England, the top league in Italy is still a national league. The players are mainly Italian, the managers are Italian, the owners are Italian. That's the way it should be.

I don't like Berlusconi as a politician, but I don't blame him for Milan's misfortunes. If not for him, this club would have gone bankrupt 22 years ago, and in the time that has passed since then, Milan have become the most-winning club in international football. Why complain?

I know that the recent transfer campaigns have been disappointing, but that is not Berlusconi's fault as much as Galliani and Braida. We actually had a deal with Luca Toni last summer, but due to the arrival of Pato in January it was canceled. A bad decision if you ask me, because it was not a surprise to anyone that Ronaldo spent most of the fall injured, and without Pato we only had three proper forwards to talk about. So we went through this fall with only two forwards, none of them being prolific goalscorers anymore. We really needed the services of someone like Luca Toni, but the management failed us. Not Berlusconi.

This season would have been so different for us if we had good forwards, because in midfield and defense we are second to none. We have only conceeded three goals less than Inter, and we have what is arguably the best midfield in Europe. All we needed was someone to score goals, but we had none, and thus we ended up getting a lot of disappointing results. It really annoys me to think about.
