He played in other roles in Milan and was at best average.

Kaka' is better, not the others. And as we usually play with two AMs, it's why we should give him another chance.
For the slow speed and technique, just compare him to Pirlo and Seedorf, or just read my previous post.
The difference between the Gourcuff who played for us 2 years ago and the one who could come back next season:
- he's older, and so he has more experience
- his
confidence (especially now that he is a starter in French NT)
And he played in many positions, it's true, and he failed, it's true too: he replaced Pirlo (who, we all know that, has a unique role and is the only one to fit in this role), and he played like a left midfielder ... the guy just needs to play in centre of the field or to play in an attacking position. If that doesn't work, let's sell him in the next winter mercato for 20M to Real Madrid (this way, they will stop to ask for Kaka'
) and everyone will be happy.
