What we need to do is to construct a team that is able to play at high tempo for 120 min and therefore play pressing game with high defence in serie a games. That way we'll be able to play faster football without allowing opponents to play relaxed defensive sistem is low tempo. Which we allow nowdays.
The problem Lebanese mentioned is true. There is fat too much space between 4 at the back and midfielde. And that is due to unability from Il Capitano, Kaladze, Favalli, Pirlo, Seedorf etc to play high tempo movement and press the space.
We play our defence with back 4 on 16 m from our goal, and Kaka' on 35m, and we should play back 4 at 30m from our goal... something for example Inter did in 2nd half vs United where they managed to close the playing space and create pressure. Something we also did vs United in 3:0 victory in CL.
