Samaldinho is on a distinguished road
I don't think Santacroce is being linked with us, because I don't think Napoli really have him up for sale. I don't think they want to put him up for sale, they have just thrown money at Quagliarella, Zuniga, and have made sure Zalayeta stays and the only person really being linked with a move out of Napoli is Lavezzi, and I think he'll ultimately stay.

Zuniga is not Santacroce's replacement, he's a right back, essentially it cements Santacroce's spot next to Paolo Cannavaro as part of a back four rather than the back three that Napoli had used prior to Donadoni's appointment.

I'm sure there are plenty of clubs that would love to have Santacroce, especially ourselves. However, if there is no will to move from the player or the club, what does it matter if Milan want to buy him?

We have to bring things into perspective: It is June 27th. There is plenty of time left, and I'm sure Leonardo is being involved in these transfers and probably has a lot more freedom with choice (not price) than Ancelotti had. Leonardo and Galliani seem to be working together, and I think that many of us misunderstand why Favalli is being rewarded contract extension (I'm sure just a year, which I have no problem with) and why Abate and Di Gennaro have returned.

I have said this before, and I will continue to say this: We have a trouble with depth. Thank God we are not like Roma, who once they lose one of their starting XI are finished. However, looking at Barcelona, for instance, they were able to patch teams together when they were fighting on all three fronts. Pinto took goal for the Copa, for example.

Milan have relied on making Seedorf, Pirlo, and Gattuso mainstays of the team, whether that be the league or cup or CL. That is a major problem, and the fact that they have gotten this far, with playing constantly, is frankly impressive. Lesser players would have broken down a long time ago.

Abate and Di Gennaro are not going to be Messi's, but I think that (especially Abate) that they can really distinguish themselves, even at Milan. If many of you trust Leonardo's judgment, then these two players should be welcomed back, rather than panned because they are not at "Kaka's level."

Kaka is not going to be replaced by a player from outside our club. He is replaced by Ronaldinho. Face the facts, that is the truth. Will Ronaldinho be the next Rivaldo? No, Rivaldo was a different player, never having the sort of powers that Ronaldinho has. Rivaldo also was never given a full injury-free season.

Honestly, if there is any player who is capable of "replacing" Kaka, then it is Ronaldinho. Messi has continually flopped in big games (save this last CL final) as has Cristiano Ronaldo. Kaka is a big game player, so is Ronaldinho. That is the difference between the Brazilian duo and Messi and CR7. Ronaldinho has just been dropped and Dunga has offered Ronaldinho a spot, it is just up to Ronaldinho. Leonardo I'm sure has outlined, as has Berlusconi that Ronaldinho's fate is in his hands.

Dinho knows that his legacy is at stake, and I don't think he wants to go down as a fading star. No one wants to end that way, especially at 29. So have some faith and realize that Dzeko is by no means a replacement for Kaka, but he will give us the sort of ugly goals that allow us to push aside Siena and get goals against tough big games. Pretty goals do not give you 1.5 goals, ugly goals and pretty goals count the same, and Dzeko is great at scoring both. Plus, at 23 he can learn a lot more and become a far better player than he is all ready. By the same logic, many of you here wouldn't buy Pato, because his decision-making might have flaws, but he has grown since coming to Milan, and Dzeko can do the same.

I don't want to lose Seedorf, Pirlo, or Ambro. I'd like to see the back of Kaladze, but, fine, he stays, maybe he'll rise to occasion? It doesn't matter, because we have to help this team transition, and selling half the squad doesn't do that, it simply makes the "new cycle" that much harder to get into.

So, please, stop fighting amongst each other, stop fighting about stupid things and about what Galliani says. He says everything for a reason, maybe not the best for the public, but the best for the club. Whether it is saving Milan money, or pressure from first-time coach Leonardo, Galliani is outlying what is in Milan's best interest. So, please, stop being like fans from other teams who believe everything that is said on face-value. Understand that Milan has been a team that always understands the game better than other clubs, and has always played the market correctly. At least we didn't spend millions on Almiron, Poulsen, okay?

Just say Thanks for what we do have, and realize that things aren't over.
