The thing is that I don't rate Camoranesi as a useful player.
So even if I agree that we need one more attacking midfielder to complete the team, I don't see Camoranesi as this solution.
And like I said, the fact that I've never liked this player, and the fact that he is a Juventus player, added to the fact I don't think he could be useful, make me say "I hope Camoranesi won't come, even if that means that our mercato is over and Kaladze stays in Milan".
I'm not Allegri (I think everyone knows it

), but I think the starting team he has in mind nowadays is:
Abbiati
? - Nesta - T.Silva - Antonini
? - Pirlo - Flamini
Ronaldinho (free to move)
Pato - Borriello
The "?" is because Allegri hasn't really given clues to let us know what he will choose at the end, I even doubt he already knows who to use himself.
At RB: He said Zambrotta could still deliver good performances, but he didn't really try him there, he mainly used him on the left. He used Sokratis 2-3 times, but he said that Sokratis was better as a CD, more solid, more reliable because he is unexperienced as a RB and has to improve (which means he isn't convinced by Sokratis as a RB). He also used Oddo, but with what he showed, I doubt Allegri wants Oddo to be our first option on the right of our defence. And yesterday, he tried for the first time Abate, but Abate seems so out of form that Allegri probably doesn't know where he could use him for moment (the bench ?) ... So if the club wants to make a move on the mercato, I hope they will give another defender to Allegri, but a real RB this time, it would be much smarter choice than Camoranesi.
At CM: Here, it seems easier to know what will happen. Allegri will use Pirlo as a "regista" (playmaker from behind if we sum up the role of the player, he has to dictate the tempo) and wants to give a more important role to Flamini. He also said that Seedorf will be the vice-Pirlo. That leaves us with Ambrosini, Gattuso and the soon-coming Boateng. The player who will have the best performances will probably get more playing time. But as he also said he wants to set a rotation system to always have players in good condition, everyone will get a chance. So I think we could have the following midfield ; Boateng/Ambrosini or Ambrosini/Boateng - Pirlo/Seedorf - Flamini/Gattuso. We also have to remember that Merkel could have a role to play in our midfield, but will Allegri try to use him here (his real position) or as an AM ? IMO, we don't need any new player here unless we suddenly have money and can buy the best central midfielders.
As you see, I agree with you Rossoneri Fuego, we need one more attacking midfielder, because then, if we try to analyze the AM position, we notice that we only have Ronaldinho (who isn't reliable, unless Allegri finds the magical button who will transform our Ronaldinho into the one of the Barcelona days), possibly an out of position and unexperienced Merkel, and another unexperienced player, Verdi (he can play as AM/RW/LW/SS, actually, I'm unable to find what is his prefered position on the pitch, he played in all these positions with the Primavera, and he only played as a second striker with the first team, and showed some good things). If we imagine that Verdi will be a kind of last sub for our attack, that lets us with Ronaldinho and Merkel, it's not enough.
As a consequence, and I think everybody here agrees actually, IF our management is still working on the mercato, I hope they will try to bring a RB and an attacking midfielder, and when I say such a thing, I mean serious players, not a 18yo and unexperienced player, nor a 32+yo player who won everything but just comes for a last contract.
If they can't bring us these two players, it's better not doing anything on the mercato as it will only mean we waste money.
