That's how it is mate. Their picks were always debatable. To everyone SANE in this world who have watched football (especially CL) last year, Sneijder and Milito were two best players last season - Sneijder for leading his team to CL title and Milito for scoring most of the goals in the process.
But the formula for the picks is simple - if Barcelona or Real or Manchester reach semi-finals at least, you can bet Ballon D'Or goes to one of their players. The players like Milito and Sneijder can't win Golden Ball just like Pirlo couldn't won WC 2006 best player award, because guess what Zidane was there and he was ****.y for most of the time, but played
fantastic quarter finals.
