It is awful, wrong and pathetic to say or think like this regarding (us) women!!

I hope we will see some action on the transfermarket, and find one or two really good forwards!!

I actually agree entirely with Berlusconi on this issue. Sheva let his wife make his decisions for him and he's now a laughing stock in London both on and off the pitch. His move wasn't for money, and it wasn't for his career. It was because the silly cow he married wanted to send the little brat they collectively spawned to an English school.

Now, the rumours are she hasn't settled in London. As we say here, the chickens have come home to roost.

Even if everyone knows that...to say that in public (humiliating a person, for whos child you are a Godfather in fact) is very very bad...not ethical. You may know its true..keep it to yourself, who is he and who are you to judge him, or his behaviour with his own family?! He left..his decision. Berlu said this not because he knows that this is a fact - Berlu said it because he is pissed off that he cannot get Sheva back. Berlu said it because he sees that without Sheva Milan does very bad this season...he is angry that Sheva left - and that is a way in which he expresses his anger. Why did not he said it beofre..why just now? Because before he wanted to get Sheva back. But Sheva (or Chelsea did not let him..I dont know who in fact) refused to go back. And that is why he said these words now. Silvio is being eaten by his own anger now...and his behavior is unacceptable.

If it had been the other way around, no one would say anything. That is a big tragedy, that people still act that way and that people still think like Cavemen. Maybe it is down to insecurtiy, not beeing that bright, fright etc, etc. I think Sheva values his family(-life) and saw it as an opportunity, maybe it will work or he might move back to Milan next season.

Quite frankly, the ethics of the matter are insignificant in football- if I was in Silvio's place, I'd probably have said the same. Football is a dirty, nasty business, and is probably all the better for being so. When matters get personal, it makes things far more entertaining.

As far as I'm concerned, this neatly draws a line under the whole possibility of Sheva coming back; now we can stop thinking about his return, and move forward. With talk of his return, we were always living in the past.

I really hope Berlusconi didn't say these things like they were printed in the press. That would be showing Shevchenko no respect and it would be totally wrong after his time in Milan.

And also, other players may find Berlusconi's words so harsh that they will disrespect him and not want to play for our team in the future.

That's a bit naive. There are dozens of presidents far worse than Silvio.

Anybody remember when he said Patrick Kluivert was "playing for a transfer". He was probably right.

The American School of Milan is an independent, coeducational day school for students of all nationalities, which offers an educational program from nursery through grade 12 with postgraduate 13th year. The School was founded in 1962. The school year comprises two semesters which run from September 2 to January 27 and from January 30 to June 23.


Organization: The School is governed by a 9-member Board of Trustees, elected for 2-year terms by the Association of the American School of Milan, the sponsor of the School. Membership in the Association is automatically conferred on the parents or guardians of children enrolled in the School. The School is formally organized as a non-profit institution and has been designated as tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code.


Curriculum: The curriculum is that of U.S. general academic, college-preparatory public schools and includes the International Baccalaureate program option. Multi-age classes for primary and intermediate students allow learners to make continuous progress in a collaborative, family-style environment. Students make use of wireless laptop computers from grade 6. The School is the testing center in Northern Italy for the Educational Testing Service. The testing program includes SAT 1 and 2, PSAT, and GRE. Instruction is in English. The academic program includes an extensive interscholastic program, drama, music, student government, and lifetime sports instruction. One hundred percent of the graduates go on to colleges and universities. The school was accredited in 2000 by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.


Faculty: In the 2005-2006 school year, there are 56 full-time faculty members.


Enrollment: At the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year, enrollment was 496 (N - 13).


Facilities: Recently remodeled buildings consist of three main interconnected two-story buildings. There are four separate learning units: Primary (N-2), Intermediate (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). The self contained campus has two modern computer laboratories, and a very well equipped Media Center, 43 classrooms, 5 science laboratories, a cafeteria, an auditorium, a double gymnasium, a dance studio, a weight room, a soccer field and three tennis courts.

Sir James Henderson British School was founded in 1969 to serve the needs of the British and international communities of Milan - all of those, in fact , who require an English medium education.

The school is a non profit making association and is a member of HMC, ECIS and COBISEC. It is authorized by the Italian government and by the British government's Department for Education. SJHS is a day school for over 600 boys and girls from aged 3 to 18 years.

The programme follows that of schools in the UK and of similar British schools outside the UK. Sir James has a long tradition of academic excellence with an outstanding examination record. Some 45 nationalities are represented by the student body.

The school provides a structured programme from nursery to university entrance, and the majority of graduates enter university in Britain, Italy and the United States as well as those in other countries. Admission is dependent on interview and reports from previous schools. In all cases the child must have an appropriate level of English before being fully assimilated into the academic programme.
