Milan - Catania , Week 17

With the game that milan made against viola i think that we have potentials to beat catania.

We need to win and we will win this one, no matter how! By hand, by penalty, by luck...by Gila. We simply must do it. Just let Gourcuff, Kaka', Pirlo and Gattuso play in the midfield, and Gila-Pippo up front.

We need to let Gourcuff play a full 90 mins for sure.

I also hope that Gourcuff plays and I would prefer to play again in a 4-5-1

Although we will see Seedorf in the starting lineup (i don't know the right english word for the starting eleven )... I would also prefer are lineup with a midfield where Gourcuff, Kaka', Pirlo and Gattuso are playing.

Score a goal as earlier possibile and Catania is finished !
They just can't comeback.
I watched them against Inter and Roma. They held well against Inter but after Inter equalised they were done. Roma destroyed them 7:0.
Catania plays well while they have the result. When they are goal down, they play like serie C team !

So, my recepie will be : All attack since the beggining ! Score a goal, and 2-3 more will follow.
If Roma scored 7 and Palermo 5, Milan can score at least 2 goals to them and win this match !

scoring early isn't our strongest point lately, except in our last game, so hopefully Gila can force it again, or someone else off course

Failing to win this game ,will substantialy undermine our ambitions for the 4th place.
My predictions: sloppy win 2-1/ seedorf+pirlo/

I would point out Spinesi of Catania - who is a very good player. Colucci can be dangerous as well. If we manage to mark them properly, then we ll minimize Catania's chances for scoring. Plus we need to be quick, precise and try to score a quick goal.
We can win (hope that Ancelotti is not going to play 5-5 during the whole game).

Catania's match against Empoli was postponed due to heavy rainfall. They will be perfectly rested for the match. Still, they must be destroyed.

i hope we can win this one, we really need the points. we are just 3 points away from relegation zone. this is a nightmare.

we really can't afford any more slip ups. i hope carlo puts pirlo, cafu and kalac on the bench for this. all 3 are really useless at the moment and i wouldn't mind seeing the latter 2 being replaced in winter.

my formation would be following:

Gilardino - Oliveira
Kaka
Gourcuff - Brocchi - Seedorf
Jankulovski - Kaladze - Simic - Bonera
Fiori

Fiori simply can't be worse than kalac, he really fumbles every ball that comes his way, he is destabilzing an already unsettled defence. cafu is finished as wingback, simple as that. he doesn't have the energy to work in offense and defence. maybe we can use him in right midfield but no more in defence. pirlo is just plain horrible, of course the team set up is not helping either. he needs a team that moves a lot to utitlize his passing but that is no excuse for what he is delivering at the moment. his horrible set pieces are solely his fault.

i think the 2 striker formation is working better at the moment, last game with kaka and gila in front we were really harmless. kaka was quite poor in that position as he missed the space to start his runs, oliveira could hopefully create the distraction needed.

When was the last time when Fiori played? And Kalac at least played for a several matches already...No I dont think it is a good idea to put Fiori...Plus he is really old...

true that kalac played some games now but he is still so horrible. it is hard to imagine that fiori is worse although i have to admit that this season has already held some very unpleasant surprises.

still i would give it a try.

Fiori keeped his last match in the Deportivo tournament in Spain last summer vs. Atlético Madrid, we won and he played well, we were destroyed against Deportivo in the final 3-1 with Kalac in goal...

I think that vs. Depo Coppola was our keeper, not Kalac
