seeing kaka today vs italy

seeing kaka today celebrating that third goal and being so happy almost mad me cry in sadness.. we have had a bad summer.. seeing our Star leaving us and then beating up italy as a brazilian and not a member of milan made me sick to my stomach.. I don't know if you guys felt that just wondering.. it was a sad day as a Milanista today..

Come on man, no need to be sentimental now. The guy's gone, we wish him the best. In the future, it may be Kaka that will be looking at his former teamates celebrate and wishing what could have been....

To be honest, the team in 2006 and 2007 was not that big of a different beside Sheva out and RO in. Then Ronaldo and Oddo came in Jan.

But this year is very different. Already the team is without Kaka(best player) and Maldini(best defender) in Milan's 08-09 team. With Nesta coming back and T. Silva playing, the defense should be a lot better, but without the speed of Kaka upfront will be a huge problem.

BTW, I really would not call 2007 as a bouncing back year as Milan did pretty well in CL in 2006(semi-final). While MIlan's position in Series A remained the same in 2006 and 2007 despite having Juve and Fiorentina playing in Series B.

Also looks like Kaka is ready to accept a bigger responsibility, and be the new Milan captain....

But that boat has sailed...

Watching Kaka plays for Brazil makes you wonder if Milan actually got 1 or 2 players to play alongside him, Milan would have won the league, IT Cup and UEFA Cup last season.

Kaka linked up well with Robinho.. Imagine if he left us last January instead, what kind of combo it could've been for Manc City

Or imagine if Milan actually got Robino is the summer of 08 instead of signing R80 and Sheva.

Sorry Guys but the performance of Kaka with Brazil is not to compare with his last 2 deceiving seasons with Milan...

Even the Brazil has won, it was def.not a seducing Brazil ( they played like europeans teams and def no more the joga football we want to see).

But I am happy to everybody has seen that Pirlo and Zambro are out...

DO I have to compare Maicon to Zambro ?? And when I read that we don't need defensers because we have Zambro !!!!!!!

How many golas this season tks to Zambro ????

Coming back to Kaka : as said : the last 2 seasons he was not good so why keeping him ???

Ancelotti never trusted R80 and never gave a real chance in the second round prefering Kaka/Seedorf and all his best friends even when they were real bad

R80 will be fit for the next seaon because of the World Cup and the CL....you will see that R80 in good shape is far away better than Kaka ( it's also the opinions of all football specialist)

Midfield : Ambro/Gattu/Flami

Attack : Pato/R80/Dzeko

Defense : Anto/Thiago/xx/xx

With that team we are champions !!!

Its funny how people are saying R80 will be back to his best with World Cup and CL football next season and yet, nobody say the same about Kaka, as he will be playing in CL and most likely starting for Brazil in the World Cup.

Well that's because Kaka no longer plays for us

And with R80---he scored 10 goals last year and was decisive in a number of games--all of that while he was not started regularly and never found any match rhythm. The guy's got loads of talent, all he needs is a coach who will put his confidence in him and let him play a number of consecutive games. I am still optimistic that Dinho will return to his best IF given the chance. A player's career does not end at age 29.

But at 29, we shouldn't really build a team around him either (as Berlu wants), as he's only got 1-2 years at the top left, and given his physical shape over the past 2 years, that's pretty optimistic I'd say.

Also, he didn't do badly last season, but we really struggled to get him to fit into the team, which resulted in disjointed play that relied on moments of individual skill, and I fear the same could happen again.

No doubt I believe R80 will be great, but like someone said, is it rational or reasonable or practical to build a team around a 29 yrs old who had been struggling for the past 2 seasons?

Kaka is gone, and thats probably the worst decision Berlu could have made.
