i wonder why there isn't a Gourcuff thread here,

Yoann Gourcuff has played his part in ensuring France qualified for the next stage of the European Under-21 championship and is now back at Milanello to prepare for the opening game of the Serie A season. He said: 'It went well so we will be attempting to get to the finals next summer.' With Gattuso suspended and Ambrosini injured, Gourcuff could make his league debut on Sunday: 'I feel ready and it might be difficult at the beginning but with the number of games I hope to get the opportunity to play. I am settling in, feel part of the group and I am learning Italian.' The youngster revealed he has had help with any language difficulties: 'Costacurta has been helping me to communicate better. It's important to be able to speak to your team-mates. Clarence Seedorf has also helped me out but unfortunately Vogel has left as I got on well with him although I get on with all the others too so it's no problem |

The France U21 international signed for Milan over the summer and while he is 20 years of age, studies in the MilanLab indicate his biological age is actually 18. "This is very positive," said Milan medical chief Daniele Tognaccini. "It means that Gourcuff, over the next two years, has wide margins of improvement from the athletic point of view." Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is already convinced he has a star on his hands. "He has great technique and now that he's at Milan he can look forward to having an excellent career," said Carletto. |

He also got fined 2000 Euros for knocking some guy's tooth out in a French nightclub in February of this year.

Awesome…if he translates this aggression
 in the pitch then we can groom him into a Gattuso.Haven’t seen him play either but will do come Sunday if he plays. Off topic but according to acmilan.com, Ancelotti has lost 5 kgs  so good job for him!

It would have been really great if his was JOHANN CRYUFF instead of Yoann Gourcuff
 , It would have remind us the great Dutch-man  U see every great players also have a cool sounding name  One reason y Ronaldinho  wont make to the category of very best is bcoz his name is not great sounding like Rivaldo and Ronaldo

It was the 1st time i got a proper look at Yoann Gourcuff tonight and am really impressed he took his goal really well on his head, Seedorf will have to fight for his place now in the Milan side and this is only good for us same with Pirlo who will now get more rests which he seems to need. They were praising him after the game in England on sky sports which is great to hear lets hope he gets lots of opportunities this season to play and impress

The more exiting is he was supposed to play all midfielder positions, so Seedorf, Pirlo, even Kaka and half Brocchi are bidding for 3 spots.
