Is it acmilan.com official?

I read that there is possibility that he will exchanged with Criscito (plus money probably).

from ACMilan.com

Milan’s activity on the January transfer market is over, after the Rossoneri have signed Spanish defender Dídac Vilà Rosselló to give coach Allegri some more depth at left-back. 21-year-old former Espanyol player Vilà is Milan’s fourth winter signing after Cassano, Emanuelson and Van Bommel. The defender will sign until 30 June 2015 after passing his medical.

(New Milan signing Didac Vilà struggling against Barcelona's Dani Alves)

MILAN - A left-back was the last missing piece of an excellent transfer campaign carried out by the Rossoneri management. The mission has been completed as 21-year-old Dídac Vilà Rosselló has joined Milan from R.C.D. Espanyol de Barcelona.

Once again, Adriano Galliani’s personal intervention proved to be decisive, as the Milan CEO left for Barcelona immediately after the presentation of Van Bommel and Emanuelson to return to Italy with the Spanish starlet, who’s seen as the final piece to complete the Rossoneri defence.

A very promising left-back, Vilà came through the Espanyol youth system after joining the Barcelona-based club at the tender age of 10. After making his first team debut on 29 January 2009, Vilà went on to establish his place in the Espanyol starting eleven this season. In addition, he appeared 6 times for the Spanish Under 20 national team, winning the Mediterranean Games in Pescara in 2009.

Lol. I am confused with our late transfers. I wrote often 'Basten' instead of 'Bommel' (pff fortunately I noticed it before posting). And now with Didac. It's uncomfortable to say and remember it since I am already accustomed with Dida.

Well, I am sorry Dídac.

Once again, welcome to AC Milan Dídac Vilà! Best wishes for you to play much better then our current fullbacks!

Well, I hope that he is not here only to give depth.

From what my La Liga following friends tell me, he is a reliable defender who may break into the Spanish national team.

These are also fans who don't have any particular allegiance to Espanyol, so maybe what they're saying has some weight.

He is a selection of Braida...just like Grimi, Coloccini, Mattioni, Cardacio, Viudez and Montelongo. Alot of Espanyol fans think he is not that good and are baffled as to why we have him... I personally have a feeling that even Nini is better than him...

I think we are going to use Vila to get Criscito at the end of the deadline. I always thought that ever before we got him, and today they even asked Vila's agent about this possible scenario and he chose not to comment on it instead of denying it.

Very interesting, but why would Vila want to do that? Genoa and Espanyol are more or less on a similar level, in fact Espanyol did very well in UEFA a few years ago (I think made the Final).

Why would a player want to leave a 5th place team in his HOME country for a 14th place team in a foreign country?
