My side for this season only...

GK: Pagliuca (I'm not saying he's the best, that at this point is still Dida or Buffon, but he has been excellent this year and great return to form so he deserves it)

RB: cafu
CB: Nesta
CB: Thuram
LB: Zambrotta
DM: Emerson
LM: Jankulovski
RM: Pizarro (Nedved and Totti came close)
AM: Kaka (had a slow start, but most of the season has been excellent, despite what some critics might want to say)

ST: Sheva
ST: Adriano
COACH: Capello (Spaletti deserves much credit)

I think although I've mentioned these guys, players like Parisi, Gila, Bojinov, Montella and others in Serie A are performing excellent this year and could have gotten into the side as well

Did he? I thought just Ujfalusi did.

either way, both have shown to be nowhere near the class of the guy we'll probably call San Sandro in the future
