I'm not saying you are pessimistic.

And I am not going to waste my time to tell you what I mean by realistic. When you are realisitic, you sit down, calm down and say, 'ok, what's wrong?'

While people who are not realistic:
They sit down, without calming down, without analyzing, and start typing with emotion. That's when you become unrealistic.

If it's ever a matter of realistism, then Milan would have sold these so-called old player no time ago, but we didn't, and we are in CL semi-final. Just one game and you are saying that you are realistic.

We cannot be blamed for not coming out to play...we started strong and unforunately could not put the ball in the net..Gila missed two great opportunities and Sheva came ever so close with his header. For a while Barca seemed to be closing in on us and taking control of the game however the infamous 'final push' from Milan was evident as ever.
Bottom line was that Barca capitalized on their opportunities and we did not...A goal by Gila or Sheva in the first half would have greatly changed the game...as Barca's goal did...
Both sides hit the post .. both sides come dangerously close to goal ...

The next match up requires an 'all or nothing' mindset...it will be difficult..nevertheless..

2 more things:

1) If you want to see whether you are emotional when you type, count the number of '!' in a message.

2) It's realistic to analyze the game and see how we lost such a game. Make some non-judgmental, non-emotional but realistic, statsitically-supported statements will serve MM a better place to be.

Eh... No, I don't think so! I'm optmistic because he is still only almost 24 years old. He still has his best years ahead of him. Why stop being optimistic about a player when he's that young?

Gilardino is a great player even if he hasn't scored yet in the CL. He has been in and out of the team and with even more support and playing time he will be better, and even start scoring in the CL.

He has scored regularly in the Serie A over the last years, and even for the national team. So everybody knows, or at least should know, what he is capable of.

Simple. Just think about how you'll react if Gila scored the goal instead of hitting the post today. Then ask yourself, will you ever make the same comments?

If your answer is no, that means you are not being fair.
If your answer is yes, that means you do believe that buying Gila is wrong, and you need a lot more evidence to weight against him given that he has evidence against your claim (i.e., 24 goals in Serie A for 2 seasons).

i think the service was poor to Gilardino and Sheva, kaka was only really lively in the last 20 mins of the game, the danger with our team is if kaka and pirlo are man marked there isnt alot of creativity....

all world class strikers go thru dry patches..... eto couldnt score today, gil at least hit the cross bar...

ofcourse I wud not have said bad abt him coz he has scored a goal. but he didn't and has not since the beggining so i dont think i am being harsh on him or being unfair!
