Threatening Inter

Inter possibly winning next year?? Many of you guys probably will say no matter how good their squad is, which is every year, they just can't win. I honestly believe they have a better team than Juve, Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, and Man U!! Inter don't only have a sick starting XI, their bench players would probably start in most teams!! In defense they're overloaded with quality with players like Grosso, Samuel, Materazzi, Cordoba, Zanetti, and Maicon. In midfield they got Stankovic, Pizarro, Cambiasso, Figo, Maxwell, and Solari. In attack they have Adriano, and Martins. On top of this excellent team they're going to get Luca Toni and Patrick Vieira!! I still don't believe they're a challenge to Milan in the scudetto race, but I think they have a chance of taking the CL.

I've been saying it all along, Inter have a really good squad this year. If they keep the core together, they'll easily be better than teams like Chelski and Real. Mark my words: Vieira will be the key for Inter winning next year

maybe someone can put a new scandal together involving Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Milan, Arsenal, Man Utd., Monaco, etc. and then, in July of 2007, the title can taken from whoever wins it in May... and then

Given to Inter!!!

that way they can celebrate in August, and print in on their bus... and say:

This is the UCL trophy of the honest!!!

Inter is doing differently this year. First, they decided to keep WC winner Materazzi. They brought in a young talent in Grosso. They're keeping the core guys that played last year (very un-inter like) instead of replacing each one. They're bringing in a Pirlo-like mozart in Vieira and a proven striker in Luca Toni. They're biulding a team that, if the players mesh, that could be #1-2 for many years to come

As long as Mancini is coach of inter i don't see any trophy in hands of inter players ..
U noticed they'r defenders .. im not immpresed by non of them .. exept Grosso and maybe Cordoba in some games !
as for their transfers if we can't take Ibra i don't think they got chances to take Vieira
based in Deschamps comments .

Next season we rule SERIE A !!!

I totally agree. Vieira is a very defensive-minded player but at the same time he delegates the midfield and brings a presence in midfield that many of the greats do.

AC Milan is going to win the season no matter what Inter has though I wish that Vieira should have joined Arsenal again

I'm also pretty sure Milan will win the scudetto but I believe Inter will make some noise. Compared to the state of our current team, they are better equipped to play in CL than we are. They have a load of world-class players who are all proven players when they play their best. Also, I believe Mancini can turn things around.

FROM CHANNEL4:
Ibra ‘agrees’ Inter deal
Wednesday 12 July, 2006
Reports in Sweden insist that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has agreed to join Inter – even if Juventus have today underlined that they are not a supermarket for other clubs.

Ibrahimovic is just one of many Juventini linked with a move away from the club as they face the threat of demotion for their part in the Calciopoli investigations.

Although the Swede has been associated with Manchester United, Milan and Real Madrid, whispers in his homeland claim that he has opted for a Nerazzurri switch.

The former Ajax sensation, who was a disappointment at Germany 2006, is allegedly set to complete the move once he returns from his holiday.

However, Juventus have insisted that they are looking to keep as many of their top stars at the club as possible.

“We are trying to make people understand that we are not a supermarket, even if that is not an easy thing to do,” new sporting director Alessio Secco told the Espresso magazine.

Secco, who was promoted to his new job after the resignation of Luciano Moggi, has very clear ideas about the club’s future should they be stripped of their Serie A status.

“We don’t even want to think about Serie C, if needed we will work on getting out of Serie B,” he continued.

“If that happened then we would obviously want to immediately come back up to the First Division and hope to get back into Champions League contention.

“Seeing as that is our strategy, we can’t completely break the squad up. It is better to keep a strong squad, even if costly, than rebuild it in the future.

“Making money from player sales is not our priority right now.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I think he'll probably come to Milan instead

I don't care who Inter buys....in fact, that's part of their problem year in and year out--all they do is buy, buy, buy! It's as if they read people's fantasy teams and go out a buy up stars. Buying talented stars in no way guarantees success, as we've seen happpen again and again with our crosstown cousins. A bunch of selfish, self-centered stars who believe their own press remain a squad of individuals, they don't get to become an actual team that can play together. Our one example of that was Rivaldo. Everybody here at MM wanted that man for years, and he came and couldn't do a damned thing for us. Nope, I don't care a bit who Inter buys....
