I hope that you were wrong too..but to be realistic, I d say that I dont see him doing anything near as good as Dida does (did)...Plus, the most important thing is that Kalac did not play at all, he was all the time on the bench - which is also quite bad, he ll need time to get into the game. But the possible way is also that he might realize that it is his only real chance to prove himself, which might make him play very well.

I read from a chinese website that Kaladze, Nesta and Ambrosini have already participated in the training, and it is quite possible that Nesta could even play against Messina.

Can someone confirm please? I haven't seen anywhere else the same news.

Im really sad to see that everyone from the club is blaming the lack of time for preparations becouse of CL qualifier and the WC. OK, we do have those kind of problems, but so do other clubs. If we catch 4th place this season, we will again play qualifiers and then ...will we have a bad season again??? That is not the explanation, people must act responsible if someone is not doing their job properly. Whether its a coach, a Milan lab stuff, or Galliani and Braida who are picking the players. Or even Silvio with cash control.

I am sure that they think otherwise, despite what they say in public. The reason that they say so (aka: look for all the excuses) is purely diplomatic, not wanting even bigger chaos or tension. What do you expect them to say? To blame in public that Gilardino doesn't score? to blame in public that Nesta makes stupid mistake (against Palermo)? to blame in public that Dida lets in an easy goal (against AEK) and hurts himself? to blame in public that Ancelotti lost control of the team? to blame in public that Galliani is a total failure and a fat liar? to blame in public that Berlusconi is losing his interest in this team?

Now it is difficult time. When things are going well, everybody is happy, and everything is easy. When things aren't smooth like right now, everybody is grumpy, and everything suddenly looks so hard. Even looking for a decent excuse becomes more and more challenging for Milan administration. by the way, "semi-goals", my a$$, anybody heard of Galliani's newest excuses?
