So true. I like him a lot, I support him, I hope he stays with us, and I really really want to see him score. Yet if (and this is a purely hypothetical situation) Gilardino and Inzaghi both left, I'd definitely mourn the departure of them both, but Inzaghi moreso. No offense meant to Gila or his (bigger) fans, it's just my personal preference.

But I get your point and I completely agree: not everyone who supports Gila supports Gila only, or even foremost!

hey... it is not Gilardino's fault that he missed the PK... it is all Ancelotti's fault... he makes the tactics & whatnot... and Gilardino is a world-class striker because he won the WC... and he has scored for Milan in the CL... and he was top scorer 2 years in a row in the Serie A for Parma... and he did score 17 goals for Milan in his maiden season & was only lesser than Shevchenko because he did not take the PKs...

^ expected excuses that will soon be used... so let me post them first... any other excuses not mentioned are welcomed...

yup... i'm readin' that even if Gilardino scored from the PK... Milan will still not win... any idea why? because Torino missed a PK too?

I can understand the anger but i can't understand the hate.
Hating one of my own players . To be a Milan fan and to hate Oliveira, Gilardino, Ancelotti......and on the other hand to worship someone who acted like a cheap ( or expensive in his case ) prostitute ( excuse me for saying this), lied to you, kissed other teams jersey etc.

I don't know if Milan fans have always been like this or i'm somewhere else now ( where this is normal behaviour...you know where), but i'm so proud we don't have this in Juve !!!

I'm sure I can come up with some hate posts directed towards Zebina on some Juventus boards. Also Ibra, Zambrotta, Viera, Thuram and Cannavaro got their fair share when they left

They weren't Juve players after they left Juventus, now were they ???
And Zebina is more of a laughing stock, than someone Juve fans hate. You can't find a signature saying " I hate xxxxx (name of Juve player)"

EDIT : On second thought, there was a guy who hated Zlatan more than anything in the world
He's a 16 years old kid in love with Del Piero, who loves DP and not Juventus. He couldn't stand watching Zlatan as a starter and DP as bench warmer.

And that's not the point at all. I wrote the last part of my post just so someone can get ashamed for what he/she is doing and saying.

I really like Oksana and i like reading most of her posts. I know she has an endless love for Milan, but saying she hates a Milan player is giving an awful example to the others and she's even discouraging new members to register here after they read how much hate there is towards the players they love.
To hate a Milan player for me is the same as being a Milan fan as long as your idol plays in Milan and stop being a Milan fan when he leaves ( i'm here long enough to see that few members dissapeared together with Shevchenko).

As for the zZ[-_-]Zz dude...... i'm really trying to understand his point, but i really can't see what is he trying to do and prove.
He attacked some members for comming on this topic right after Gila scored a goal, and he did the same today by spamming every single topic, right after Gila missed a penalty ! ( sorry for some harsh words zZ[-_-]Zz ....but if i said anything else and not this, it would have been a lie)

Imaigne what they would have done to Trezeguet if they were fans of his. Poor guy has probably missed every important penalty he has had to take.

interestin'... i attacked some members? i merely suggested that they only took the opportunity to make Gilardino look better after his goal (suggestin' he scored more than Oliveira)... but where were most of them prior to that happenin'? non-existent... and why? because they have nothin' to use to defend their little posterboy (who at that point hasn't scored yet or just had a single goal to his name)... and when he finally scored... they are only too happy to join in the discussion... highlightin' the fact he is amongst our top goal-scorers too happily...

look carefully at the dates this thread was made & most of the posts regardin' Gilardino's pathetic performances & you will notice that all too clearly... the moment Gilardino had a better goal record than Oliveira... they kept harpin' on it... disregardin' the fact that when the discussions initially started... he wasn't on dry land yet...

i'm neither tryin' to do anythin' nor prove anythin'... i'm just waitin' for somethin' really intelligent to be said in defence of Gilardino... hopin' maybe it could change my impression of him (or improve it)... but all i get are plain old excuses... stupid remarks... lame comments... insults... the lot...

Well, don't wait, because they won't find an argument to defend him. He's having a bad season and that's something i believe all of the "Gila, my poster boy" guys ( as you call them) admit.

He's having an awful season ! I'll say it also if you like a confirmation.
But please don't ignore them when they say he's not worse nor better than everyone else ( hats off to Kaka and young Gourcuff).
The team plays bad and he's just a part of this team ( a small 1/11 part). Why is it so hard to understand ?

But if you're waiting for smthg intelligent in his defence when you "attack" him for being an average or below average player..............then just say it, i'll be happy to be the first one with "intelligent arguments" !

wrong... they refuse to admit it... they keep insistin' he is some star that is currently sleepin' & when he finally does wakes up... he will be scorin' for fun... and what is happenin' to him at the moment is nothin' of his fault but purely bad luck & other lame nonsense...

as for the 1/11 part of a team... i understand it all too well... why are you even suggestin' i don't? if you actually bothered readin' their comments... stuff like Gilardino is some superstar... and he will make the difference & win us games... which until now he hasn't & yet they keep insistin' he'd do it the next match... and when he doesn't... they will repeat the cycle...

stuff like "Gilardino will score against xxx"... but when he doesn't... they repeat & say "Gilardino will score against yyy"... until finally he scores & they say stuff like "i told you he will score didn't i?" and the ratio to the truth of the matter is at this point 3:25... meanin' in our 25 games... he has only got 3 goals... so they only got it right 3 times out of 25... and they seem so proud of the fact... which is nothin' short of a joke...
