Travel to San Siro from Malpensa Airport

Firstly a big hello to everyone on the Forum, this is my first visit and post.

Myself and a few friends are travelling to Milan in March to see the 2nd leg of the Milan v Celtic Champions league game. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction as to which would be the best mode of transport from Malpensa Airport to the San Siro area of Milan as our hotel is very close to the stadium. I've heard that their are various shuttle buses and trains but as our flight doesn't land until around 11pm I am unsure as to whether these modes of transport would be available at this time.

Any advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Easiest way is to just take a taxi coming out of baggage claim but is gonna cost you around 100 euros, if not more because of the time.

There is a shuttle that takes you from Malpensa to Stazione Centrale (central train station) for only 5 euros/person... from there, you can take the Metropolitana (subway) to San Siro area... FERMATA LOTTO (Lotto stop) is where you want to go... at least that's the nearest to the Stadium, but check where your hotel is, you maybe closest to the Fair area...

Thanks Sant,

thought it would be a taxi given the time of night we'd be arriving, oh well thats a small dent out of the spending money! Still won't detract from the enjoyment of the trip though!!

Thanks again!!

Thanks ACMilan1983

I'm sure I'll enjoy joining some of the discussions currently going on in the forum, especially the Milan v Celtic ones!! Do you have any idea when the tickets for this match go on sale?
