San Siro shut-out for Celtic?

UEFA have claimed AC Milan could stage the home leg of their Champions League clash with Celtic in France or Switzerland. The second leg of the last-16 clash between Celtic and Milan is scheduled for March 7, however the hopes of supporters from either club being allowed to attend in the Italian city are in danger of being dashed by the violent scenes between Sicilian fans last week.

It's an option, I guess, but first we have to see what the final decision will be on whether SS will be closed or not becuase there's a chance that supporters - at least season-card holders - could be allowed on the stadium given that work is already underway to make SS meet safety requirements of the Pisanu Law.

Also, UEFA representatives have visited the stadium and have deemed it safe, so it could be the case that supporters are allowed in the stadium for CL games ... we'll have to wait ad see, the decision is tomorrow, I believe.

My belief is that this is press scare mongering, especially since UEFA already approved of us.

considering Dino Baggio got a KNIFE thrown at him in an eastern european country without a ban I can't see how this in Catania could stop us in europe.
