UCL Final - Milan vs. Liverpool... Athens, May 23rd

Guys, I can't believe how worried some of you were during the match. We tactically did superbly on the whole, and I feel deserved the win, though Liverpool certainly didn't make it easy.

Let's not get into arguments with 'Pool fans. If they offer their congratulations, we should accept it gratiously and we cannot deny that they played a good game, though not better than us imo. TONIGHT IS OUR NIGHT TO CELEBRATE!

I was crying when San Paolo lifted the cup, I couldn't hold it back! The memories of this season, the thought of Paolo ending soon and so much more simply overwhelmed!

Tonight I won't give my thoughts on the match, that can wait until tomorrow.

It is a difficult pill, given how well we played. Ironically Milan deserved to win in 2005, and Liverpool deserved to win tonight. But fate is a cruel mistress.

Both clubs have arguably the two finest managers in Europe.

I hope we don't meet in the CL again for a few years! My heart can't take too many mor eof these enbcounters lol.

Now I am drinking my beers here and have the immersion heater on, in preparation for a long bath. When I need to get rid of stress, i soak for a while.

Liverpool played better but not by much.. I mean Milan vs Liverpool in 05 was a total thrashing performance by us, but today we were so bad.. but we still won. Thank god... now for the transfers we have to make this team better.

Just an observation. Mascherano played well against our Golden Boy and he has done it on several occassions. Clearly Liverpool's best player on the night. Sorry Reds.
