I still believe the 4'th place. Viola have been playing well recently, but they're not a world class team to dominate the Serie A.
And btw, why the hell are they dreaming that Champions League, when they know that the wont even reach the knockout stages.

Fiorentina has actually gone quite far in the CL. Go back in time if you don't believe me.

The main problem this W-E is that Fiorentina-Sampdoria match ...
Fiorentina players will be tired because of the UEFA Cup match, they will have the next match even more tired.

So there are many cases:
- Fiorentina wins against Sampdoria = it would be almost over unfortunately, except if Rangers eliminate them next week, they could be a bit hurted mentally because they played this UEFA Cup to win it (they are the only "big" club with Bayern to have played it seriously).
- Fiorentina loses against Sampdoria = it would be perfect, and if Fiorentina were going to lose against Rangers then, I'm sure they would even be 6th !!
- A draw = not very good, Sampdoria wouldn't be eliminated from the CL race, Fiorentina would still have at least 2 points more than us ...

as long as we win the remainder of the season those 2 points wont be such a problem!

Fio needs atleast to lose/draw two matches.

We must hope Fiorentina gets to the UEFA final. They could lose some concentration in the Serie A race.

There's some hope. They lost many games recently. They aren't doing well by late. The problem is we've lost games either and we're doing even worse !!!

Of course it is clear to anyone who understands football that Fiorentina must lose against Sampdoria.

Saying we need a draw is... not my cup of tea.

I suppose it doesn't matter too much to me anyway. First of all it remains clear to me that Viola will win the game.

Second of all I have already accepted 5th place after God told me it would end like that.

I wont accept 5th place until its determined on the pitch. While i see our chance at 4th around 30%, its better than 0%.

It does not matter, its exactly the same like wether they won or jsut drew against Samp, as the difference will be 1/2 points which means that they must drop points again .

It might matter though. Yeah, if Milan win all their matches then it doesn't matter at all.

But imagine Milan beating Livorno, Napoli and Udinese and you take only a draw with Inter.
And on the other hand Fiorenitna win two matches, lose one and draw with Sampdoria.

This way they'll beat you by 1 point.

But if they lose 2 matches then you can allow one draw till the end.
That's why it's better for Milan if Fiorentina lose this match instead of taking a draw.

According to Carlo, Bonera + Pippo from the beginning, Janku and Pato off the bench. Similar formation to what we saw last week, so I'm assuming:

Kalac; Bonera, Nesta, Kaladze, Favalli; Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Seedorf; Kaka, Inzaghi

forget Fiorentina...do u guys really think we can win 5 games in a row?

hope is good to have, but I'm sorry I am not a very optimistic person, I do not think we're getting that fourth spot.
