Cagliari vs Milan 5/10/08

Fresh from a derby win Milan need to remember that freak 'Moroninhio' wont let Milan take the credit and will talk about the red cards blah blah blah. We need to concentrate on the next game.

Incidentally, we play the bottom side who havent got a point. Lets not underestimate and make sure we get our 3 points!!

Somehow, I think Milan will barely beat Cagliari. Then again, if Sheva is starting, he will come out firing as he wants his goals.

First of all regard to all Milan funs throughout the world!

Next game is very important for AC Milan because we need to assure that there is no problem with teams like Cagliari is. Cagliari is currently last positioned without no points and only one goal scored.
Team like Milan should not to be allow another blunder especially against team which is in big crisis and besides, Cagliari isn't world-class team.

In that match Carlo Ancelotti should try Mathías Cardacio, Tabare Viudez, Matteo Darmian, Luca Antonini and Philippe Senderos ( if he has been recovered from injury ).

I really would like to see this players on the field against Cagliari, although I wasn't happy with Senderos signing because he was main reason for Arsenal loosing of Liverpool in revenge match of CL 1/4 final.

Maybe, this is chance for Andriy Shevchenko to improve his condition. Two years wasted in Sniffy Chelsea made him fall through and he needs more time on the play.

I would like to see:

---------------------Abiatti----------------------
Zambrota--Bonera----Darmian(Senderos)--Antonini
-----Emerson-----Flamini-----Cardacio(Viudez)----
--------------Ronaldinho(Kaka)-------------------
------------Pato----------Shevchenko------------

Can anyone tell me how Cardacio plays?
Is it true what he say on signing that he is new Pirlo?
I found that here - http://www.channel4.com/sport/footba...lia/aug2s.html

Our next game is not Cagliari but Zurich away. And that means we must rest some players on thursday so we can play for a win against Cagliari who will gave it all for first points. In 7 days most likely Zambro-Kaladze-Maldini-Amrek will play again. With Seedorf-Flamini-Ambrosini/Rino, and Kaka'-Pato-Boriello.

While I expect some changes for Zurich: players like Antonini, Favalli, bonera, maybe Senderos, Emerson, Shevchenko...

Like mrki said we should rest some players and play people like Favalli against Zurich,Zurich isnt going to beat us with 2-0 or something like that,so we can take the risk.

Against Cagliari i expect a win,Cagliari isnt in form, they are in crisis and they are last in the table. There defence is weak(-10)and there attack very weak(+1) so i think it will be 3-0.

Goals by Seedorf,Pato and Borriello(if he plays).

Forza Milan.

Ok, the Zurich mission is behind us and now we must win against Cagliari who is last in the league with 0 points and goal difference 1-10...
Our problems lie with this kind of teams and that's why we should attack them with 2 strikers and get it over with in the first half.
After this game there is the international brake which will help our players who still have fitness problems like senderos, nesta, kaladze, ronnie, sheva, borriello..

My team:

---------------Abbiati-----------------

Zambrotta----Bonera---Maldini----Janku

---------Flamini-------Gattuso---------

---------------Seedorf-----------------

-----------------Kaka-------------------

-----------Pato----------Sheva---------

Tomorrow when the squad comes out we'll see if borriello and senderos are ready but i think we'll see them after the break...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT:
From acmilan.com:
ZURICH - After coming off the pitch in the first half due to injury, Milan's medical staff found a problem to a ligament in his left knee. In the next hours the defender's conditions will be evaluated further.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That doesn't sound too good, if he tore his ligaments he could be out for quite a while...

as long as we have Nesta, Bonera,Senderos and Maldini available i dont care

imo, Bonera and Maldini should start against Cagliari(well, dunno about Maldini...)as Bonera was very solid last night he saved Dida's ass many times..

Pato Sheva and kaka are going to start on Sunday, with Seedorf Gattuso and Ambrosini/Flamini in midfield ;D

I didtn comment on zurich game at all as for Milan it was just 90 minutes to work untill we play Cagliari. Zurich cant play with us, they are 3 classes below. We saw what we already knew: that Dinho is still not fit, that Sheva has made some good work but still lacks pace, that Seedorf is in great shape, that Antonini is way better then Favalinho, and so on...that Dida is horrible.

Aldough Cagliari has 0 points, this will be extremly difficult game. Teams like that go with 200% at night games against Juve,Inter,Milan. One goal and we are in huge trouble... We are far superior team then what Cagliari has right now. But it is a hot pitch to play in there and we must be very concentrated and play attacking and hard football. Galliani sais something like that few days ago.

Abbiatti-Zambro-Bonera-Maldini-Jankulovski-Flamini-Gattuso-Seedorf-Kaka'-Pato-Sheva.

that is tzhe most reasonable lineup I can think of. Maybe Ambro/Flamini... its the same. But Flamini is faster and Cagliari will play on counters most likely. Flamini and Rino close the whole midfield together faster then Ambro-Rino.

its very important to win this one and finish in normal point gap with Inter ( -1 ). Juve plays Palermo at home after hard trip to Belarus, maybe Palermo can do something, but I doubt.

After the break we will have Nesta, Senderos, Boriello, Pippo...and Seedorf and Dinho will stay and train with the team which is great for us. We gained so much from Zambrotta, Flamini and now and then flashes of Dinho, after Dinho gets fitter and we get Senderos and NEsta back, Milan could look really good. But only if they continuew to play with hard work and serious approach.

Good, reasonable post, Mrki.
Must say that didn't agree with you on dida's performance. He was quite solid in my opinion and he's definitely our No.2 goalkeeper and is here if abbiati loses his form.

I don't think he can Vigor. But Carletto said that both Nesta and Senderos will be available after the international break. It's a very postive news especially after Kaladze's injury
