Man I wonder if Carlo deliberately played for a draw. We didn't even give our self a chance to win this game. I think Carlo just said to himself: "Let's draw this game so the Scudetto chance will be over and we will have peace." Look obviously Scudetto would be out of reach even if we won, but it would made things interesting. Carlo was scared, he played with just Inzaghi in front. This was a game where we had nothing to lose. Even if we lost we would still finish second or third. If we won we could still dream. Pato should have started the game. He is so dangerous with the ball. If Pato is not on the field all our opponents have to do is tightly mark Kaka. Kaka was not bad yesterday, but he constantly had two defenders on him, and since non of our players can do anything with the ball, we were screwed. At least when Pato is in the game we have two players who are dangerous with the ball.

You see, Moratti was scared, Inter was scared. You could see it from the way they played against Chievo... If only we had more guts...

This was one of the worst games with Juventus I've ever seen. Juve obviously didn't want to play, and we were not very good either. One of the problems was that Ambrosini didn't have the same kind of game he has had in the last couple of games. In recent months, he has been the one making runs, creating space, along with Kaka, which is something we desperatly need with Beckham and Seedorf in the team, but today he didn't provide much offensively, aside from the "assist". I would've subbed Jankulovski and moved Flamini to the midfield.

It also became obvious that we shoudl've played with Pato and Inzaghi up front, since we were dominating possession anyways. Question is how fit Pato was before the game. I think Seedorf started the game pretty good, but he kept trying things, that was simply to hard, quick one-two's 'ala Iniesta, etc. In the second half he was to slow with the ball again.

Man of the match was definetly Maldini, he was solid in everything, and time and time again he stopped the Juventus attacks. Chiellini's face when Maldini grabbed his shirt was priceless, wonder what happened.

i don't understand this...every single game, seedorf is the worst player in our squad...and he still starts every game...We should have played 4-3-1-2 with pato inzaghi...i really disslike to watch this formation with seedorf, pirlo...they are too slow...slowing down every action...

Poor game for the most part...We always looked like conceding, and so the equaliser was no great surprise.

MOM = Flamini...excellent work rate, and couldnt be faulted for the goal..there is no way a RB should be covering a CF who is almost twice his height. Rubbish defending from the midfield, who should have prevented Camaronesi´s cross.

Again, Seedorf was one of our weakest links, though I will state that its because of his defensive contribution why he get the nod over Ronaldinho...who (one brilliant tackle is a notable exception) rarely tackles, and spent most of the match on his butt...taking forever to get up, when muscled or fouled to give up posession.

I would actually sell both to get Gorky back...(well maybe not R80, as he can be a good sub for Kaka when fit...which begs the question...will he ever get fit? )

The ref was also terrible, though I feel he was under pressure because of Moratti´s "penalties" comment. I got the feeling that we would have had to have a broken leg in the Juve 18yd box before we would have gotten a PK, and even so, that ref would probably have given an indirect free-kick.

His red card for Favalli was just ridiculous.

That said, this was a game we could, and should have won, as Juve were pretty satisfied with a draw...and what pressure could we have put on Inter with a win?

Carlo, for me, chose the best team he could, considering the result of the first match in Turin, and our injury concerns....where he lost the plot was in taking too long to bring Pato into the game. Taking Seedorf off, and putting Pato on at half time would have changed the game completely....but no use crying over spilt milk, or lost scudetti.

For me, (as I have often stated) this is a season for rebuilding, and we have some interesting players that really only need a few additions/reinforcements of the right calbre, to challenge on all fronts next term

Pity we didnt take advantage of Inter´s slip, but such is life. 2nd spot is ok, and with the run in we have, winning the title was never really much of a possibility anyway.

FORZA MIIIILAN!!!

We failed miserably to seize the opportunity in closing the gap and putting pressure on inter... the players were not properly motivated... it seems as if they were on a strike and only honouring the fixture... Despite which eleven was placed on the field they should have performed better... (maybe it is a plot to let someone get axed) only Flamini and Pippo seemed up to the task... and i am now convinced that Seedorf is the assistant coach... we could have beaten this week Juve team...

Well... uhm... i had a blast at this match actually since I was sitting in the 3. anello(? ring) above the excellent supporters (never experienced anything like it. TV Productions from italy doesnt do it justice).

The most frustrating part is that both teams looked like they where happy with 1-1

I agree; both teams seem to be content with a draw even from the very beginning. NO desire to win at all from both teams.

Like someone said, bring home Gorky!
I want him to take over for Slowdorf!
Then we'd have an amazing midfield and a wonderfully young squad :P

The funny part about all the comments is rebuilding season. Pls define what is a rebuilding season. B/c to me, a rebuilding season means CHANGES, and we may not see the result of these changes right away, thus we should be patient with them as the end of the day we will all be better off. Now, what changes did we have since last year?

New formation, system and tactic?
Nope, as we still uses the same thing for the past five years.

New Coach?
Nope

New players?
Yes, but beside Zambro and Flamini(at RB and not DM), who managed to break into the first 11. And if Gattuso, Pirlo, Ambro and Seedorf are heathly, Flamini probably already asked to be transfer in Jan.
Beckham and Abbiatti are the other two, but they did not change the system or mentality that we play, they just improved the position

At the end, what did we change in this REBUILDING SEASON? NOTHING.

NOw, I am not jumping the bandwagon here and there or complian when we lose pts and cheer when we win.... but pls don't use the term rebuilding season, as this is far far far away from it.
If Gourcuff and Polashi stayed and started games, or we began playing with a 4-4-2 or a 4-4-3, and guys like Darmain, Viduz, Cardacio, Antonini, Abate and Strusser played more than a second here and there, then this is a rebuilding season.

The fact is, our goal were to win the League, UEFA Cup and Qualify for CL but by March we are only fighting to be in the CL for next season and if Inter did not lose pts, we would still be over 10 pts behind them instead of 7pts.

Unless, guys like Seedorf, Kaladze, Kalac, Dida, Sheva, and players like Senderous and even Janku leaves Milan, we won't be winning anything.

I agree, if only we could get the permition from FIGC and UEFA to use that formation I really think we could go places with this team
