Sounds like negotiations are all over the place. Gourcuff and his agents don't seem to be able to agree with Bordeaux on personal terms, and we're trying to convince him to come back, despite Bordeaux finding the finances for the clause.

http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/trans...of-war-between

As for the clause, I don't think 15m is necessarily wrong. I think he's far exceeded expectations this season, on top of that he probably wouldn't accept a higher clause himself. Our mistake has been our lack of commitment to him this season. To hear him saying that no one from Milan even contacted him is quite honestly what's landed us in this situation. Carlo's comments through the year which were more insulting that endearing are why we'll struggle to get him back.

Anyway, thanks to Geo for his regular updates on the situation in France.

rinogattuso is an unknown quantity at this point
BORDEAUX (France) - The journey of Galliani and Leonardo in France to persuade Yoann Gourcuff to return to Milan did not, for the moment, had the impact expected. According to the latest rumors reported by 'Sky Sport 24', the best player in Ligue 1 would not be convinced to return to rossonero because it feels to be a first choice. In the last hours there have been meetings between the leadership of Bordeaux and the entourage of the player to find an agreement: the 'Girondine' offer of 3 million euros a year, while calls Gourcuff 4th!

Yes - it's Milan's arrogance, together with Ancelotti's love of Seedorf, that lands to the mess we have now.

I agree with someone who mentioned that it's MIlan's fault because Milan didn't give enough care to Gourcuff THIS season. This is perhaps problematic (but again, do you really think Gourcuff will buy the story if Milan all of a sudden attend to him... wouldn't that be seen as a hypocrite as well....)

lol... I thought I am the only one who noticed mrki saying the same things in every post for the last half a year...

anyway, I somewhat want for Gourcuff to come back and at the same time I doubt he will make an impact you all expect of him. Especially, making him the main attacking force of the team? - not gonna work

I still think he will come back to Milan, as Berlu will once again save the day.
Just interesting to note that Leo went with Galli

Care to elaborate or are we looking to do business on intuition now?

And why would you say he's going to be the main attacking force of the team? What happened to Kaka? Or has that psychic brain foreseen his departure?

You probably imply that leo is our next coach it could be true but I would like to add that Leo speaks French so it doesn't have to mean he is going to be on the helm next year.

Galliani speaks French as recently revealed by Adebayor.

From French medias, Gourcuff and Bordeaux don't manage to agree on the wage ... so they stopped the negotiations this wednesday to let everyone think about it and they will resume them this Thursday.

Other websites say that he will officially become a Bordeaux player this Thursday or Friday ...

The deadline for the negotiations is actually Saturday and not Sunday ...

if he really wanted to play for Bordeaux, wage wouldn't be a priority to him,
perhaps he is stumbling the negotiations to give milan a chance to snatchi him

but i am sure 90% of the news are rubbish,
let's wait for something official

The problem is that Gourcuff, as shown in Bordeax, excelles in the attacking midfield role being the creator of play, you got Kaka, and he isnt old. Frankly, you would be killing the kid.

I hope he stays i Bordeax
