Don't forget we still own Ferdinando Coppola, who IMO is better than Kalac and Storari... perhaps better than Dida nowadays and could compete with Abbiati...

if we had to get someone totally new, I wouldn't forget Guillermo Ochoa (MEXICO) even not being EU player.

If that were the case, he'd still be with us instead of getting his passport stamped somewhere else.

Were still a top club, even if we've fallen back last few years, top clubs need a top goalkeeper. newais im make this short. ochoa or frey next season, do with what we have for this season.

I.M.O, Storari is more than good enough as a second choice....

Abbiati is a top goalkeeper,i dont know why people are complaining about us lacking a WC-Goalie,Abbiati came in here with everybdy expecting him to just do a normal job,but he suprised everybody with his saves.He was with J.Cesar and Buffon the best keeper in Serie A,and although he isnt better then Buffon he had a better season then him.

Even after showing that he is worthy to be our first goalie,still people have the guts to keep asking for a other goalkeeper,we need a understudy like Marchetti who can take over piece by piece,but that will happen when Dida will leave,next season.

So just wait for another season until we can get rid of players,for now,Abbiati as a first team goalkeeper is acctually very good,solid.

So,we have brought Roma from Monaco,as replacement for Kalac,who it seems we'll go to Parma.I don't believe it.I thought we'll get a young goalkeeper.Well,Roma is younger than Kalac,he's only 35 years old!

even though roma is 35 years old, i think he'll be ok as our first goalie rotating with abbiati because we al know there both old goalkeepers (32&35) rotating them a few games for a few games would probably keep them in good form and less injury prone seeing as their old they need some rest time to time. this may work out ok

Goalies can play til they're 40. I think Roma's age is not a problem as long as he shows consistency and is reliable for the big games.

While I have faith in Abbiati, I'm not sure about Roma.

That being said, this was his first game, and I'm not sure if the two goals he conceded were completely his fault.

The thing that Storari does very well is shot stopping. He is very good at that, but, he does not command his box as well, and is not that aggressive. The thing that I liked about Roma was that he was more aggressive and seemed more willing to come out of his pocket to beat the ball away, but, I wonder if he's as good a shot-stopper.

That being said, these are just my first impressions of Roma, and perhaps he'll be better later on?

i agree storari is good at shot stopping but height plays a big role in being a goalkeeper maybe thats the reason for being less agressive? who knows but Roma isnt too bad.. we need another goalie as good as dida used to be to the point where inter fans have to shoot fire works at his head praying it would make him leave the feild but then again, who is there to replace the likes of former great goalkeepers like Dida,buffon,cech,van der sar and many more.. imo the only 3 keepers that are half decent that arent at their prime nearing or or past it are ochoa and cesar.. maybe a couple more at most i dont know about
