i don't think barca would sell maxwell. i think of adriano as a replacement for abidal i.e: a sub for maxwell aswell as a sub for danny alves. Lazzari for rino is a good signing. an upgrade certainlybut i would prefer a more competant player who is atleast used to the champions league pressure. as Jay said though. i expect a mid and an attacker to come and one of them will be a big name. so if lazzari is the mid. EXPECT A BIG NAME FORWARD . the key to start buying however is -as merki said- to start SELLING.ODDO/KALADZE/JANKO are the three to start with. if no clubs want to buy old effortless expensive high-waged shi**y players that's whi fifa made the RELEASE law. i know we have to pay them 50% of next years wages because the release came during summer. an agrrement could be reached between our crazy mafiosos and their agents to settle for about 10-15%

Correct me, but wasn't Sokratis hyped as a huge prospect when he came to Italy one or two years ago? A rising star that probably would come as one of European top defender?

Apparently we have set an asking price of 10 million Euros for Ronaldinho, in case he doesn't sign a new contract. Problem is that none of the interested clubs Flamengo or LA Galaxy are prepared to pay transfer fee.

I'm pretty sure that Galliani will accept 7 or 8 for Ronaldinho.

If that happens, we'll move for Dzeko, i'm sure. (After we sell Huntelaar and Gattuso too, of course)

This means that our attack for next season could be Pato, Dzeko, Borri, Pippo. Not bad at all.

On top of what? Siena and Chievo?

We arent improving if we only get Dzeko, we wouldnt have any creativity in our team, and that was already a problem even with ronaldinho. he was our number 1 assist-man and he was at the beginning of most attacks.

I'm all in for selling ronaldinho but we must buy a decent replacement.

If these things happen we would have a decent serie A team. but we would still be FAR, FAR away from the likes of Inter, Barcelona, Real Madrid (with mourinho), chelsea... etc.

We need 4-5 top players if we want to beat Inter, Barca, ManU, R Madrid Chelsea

even with Dzeko we're in the same position, because we still won't have a fast moving midfield or creativity...

now HONDA and Dzeko, then we're talking ..but still not as good as teams above..

Even with Your formation, the midfield is still crap, slow and lacks movment.

I think Abate will be the key player to watch next season, as will he be playing as a RB or as a midfielder.

There's no point comparing us to those teams for next season. We're in a period of transition and we're cutting cost, this is not the situation for them.

4-5 top players? I don't even dream about that for now, but for the future. We'll be back, but not yet.

Honda, Dzeko, Van der Wiel, Lassana, THEN you can mention them in same breath as those other teams...

We are hoping this is actually a transition, we have heard that before too by the way. Just because some high salaries end next year doesn't mean they will be re-invested and let's not forget any big players coming next year won't exactly be cheap in salary terms.

I can't see all the guy's leaving next year being replaced by top quality mega bucks players , we don't need that just smart buy's good players that are young that have not exploded yet and raise their pay accordingly.....But I don't want to turn into a Porto or Benfica if you know what I mean.

Actually, yeah I was being serious. The problem with Dinho is that, yes he assists, but a lot of time he's a liability. He just stands there when we don't have the ball, and without Pato creating havoc on the other side, he's too easily closed down.

Dzeko can be a bulldozer AND a finisher, something Borri lacks.

We already have enough creativity in Pirlo. We're not going to be playing Carlo style, one touch passes and possession football anymore. It's going to be direct attacks through Dzeko/Borri. The midfield isn't about creativity anymore, or technique, it's about brute force and solidity, and having the full backs push forward to cross.

We are lucky if we turn into a Benfica or Porto. At this particular point in time, we are simply conceding our position as one of the top teams in the world. We no longer wants the financial burden of being a top team, so we quit, simple as that. We want to become the new Arsenal, which is a team full of youngsters that are waiting to get sold for big money. Only trouble is, we stink at nurturing our young players. Pozzi was supposed to be the new Inzaghi, we messed him up; Albertazzi was the new Maldini and we didn't go anywhere with him either. Milan is just a wannabe club trying to save a few bucks, that's all. They think they are more than that, but they are not.

He's still only 18/19, a consistent call-up for Italy U-19 and was shown not faith in, by Leo last season. I think Allegri will show a bit more faith in him and others, yet you've already written him off.

Pozzi was never the new Inzaghi. He could've been the new Tomasson, once again if he was given a proper chance.

Paloschi imo could be our main striker with Pato for season 11-12, whilst others like De Vito, Strasser, Verdi could be regulars, but only if we have faith and patience in their development.

Zaragoza still owns Milan 6M for Ricardo Oliveira.

Is there any players we could use: Leonardo Ponzio, Carlos Diogo,... ?
