Like Milan director said, this is his only chance and he better uses his head properly. Otherwise he will be another Ronaldinho or even much worst.

I am not optimistic about Cassano's transfer. He would only add option to Milan but not improve the quality of the team. Hope he proves me wrong but I doubt it. I doubted so much Ronaldinho before he came and he could only show 1 good year performance which was so overrated by many fans.

As he directly replaces Ronaldinho and adds more depth to the team, he will definitely add some quality to our team ...

If you look at it more properly: we know have Ibra/Pato and Robinho/Cassano, we have two attacking lines of international level and can rotate them without decreasing the level of the team on the pitch. Ibra, Robinho and Cassano are all hard workers (Ibra since this season, Robinho and Cassano move a lot on and off the ball), which should force Pato to make some efforts too if he wants to keep a starting spot. In 6 months, our management also deleted the weight of pressure that Pato had on his shoulders, last year, he had to be our main striker, as well as two years ago, and suddenly, he has 3 international, "young" and experienced players with him. I think Pato will learn a lot more now and will play a bit less often, which should also help him not to be injured all the time.

So with Cassano, I see the end of a kind of trilogy helping the club as a whole as it looks like there has been a project (by looking at our attacking line like I did in the previous paragraph: Ibra/Pato and Robinho/Cassano) and helping Pato to grow.

The issue ( a good one i must admit) is how the first choice starting attack will look like; stick with the ibra/Binho, try either the Ibra/antonio or Ibra/ Pato. Maybe even sacrifice a midfielder (Shegs is looking at you, Pirlo) and try Ibra/ (Antonio /Pato/ binho) trident. One thing is clear though, Ibra has to start if he's fit and not tired.

No more trident please !! We don't have the FB to play with 3 strikers and 3 midfielders.

Allegri won't change his sytem I think, he has managed to create a team unit, a solid group/formation, why would he change that, risk breaking the team just for Cassano ?

For Ibra, with Cassano coming, Pato could be his direct replacement ... that means the guy will be able to get some rest as Pato needs to play too.

The option Cassano can bring is to make Alleigri play with 4-3-2-1 with Robinho and Cassano play behind Ibra. Each position of the three players especially Robinho and Ibra can change position, just like they have been doing until now.

I hope Cassano still has desire and hunger to play for trophies aka move his ass just like Binho and Ibra have shown to Ronaldinho every game.

Its really weird Inter didn't even put that much of an effort to get him and we need him more than you.

A real shame, but I fear an overcrowded star studded start and bench players may end up against you

If we get Ganso/Honda etc, then we'll have 4 strikers who will rotate with Ibra playing the most....

One thing I want to address: Does anyone agree that Ibra plays best as a Second Striker like when he played off of Adriano. I think Ibra will play best with Pato, although he looks good with Robinho lately...

I think Ibra with Dzeko/Huntelaar would be best as he can be more creative...
Ibra does not like to be a penalty box target...although he can be at times in the match...

We'll have to see how this all progresses, but I'm quite curious about how we'll play.. the Trident, as GeoTav says... needs to be FINITO...

maybe it is an exchange of favor for last year's Pandev? we needed Pandev more but didn't put in any effort. And Pandev allegedly is a Milan fan.

cassano has better technique+confidence to execute it
better finishing and a determined attitude. Binho still not at a optimal self-confidence level. cassano is arrogant but in a good way like ibra which is something everytime needs.
cassano will be good for us.
