Udinese's Jankulovski confirms AC Milan deal
tribalfootball.com - March 2, 2005

Udinese winger Marek Jankulovski has confirmed he is on his way to AC Milan next season.

The Czech Republic international will double his money joining Milan, agreeing terms on a four-year contract worth £1 million-a-season.

Udinese accepted Milan's offer of £6.25 million at the end of February and Jankulovski confirmed the deal in an interview with the Czech press this week.

"I didn't choose AC Milan over Juventus," he insisted. "Juve were interested, but then everything went silent.

"I am very happy to be joining AC Milan. It is a dream to sign for one of the greatest clubs in the world."

Jankulovski rejected a move to CSKA Moscow in August and revealed: "The biggest offer I received was from CKSA, but my intention has always been to stay in Italy
