Bayern Munich coach Felix Magath says his team are capable of beating Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
The German club were given a tough draw against the Italian giants in the next round of the competition, but Magath expects his team to progress.
"It is a great draw. We were able to play well against Serie A leaders Juventus twice in the group phase so I don't think we should be worrying about this tie," he told Bayern's official website.
"I hope that we'll win the first leg at home by at least two goals, but we have to be careful not to concede one otherwise it will be difficult.
"The fact is that Milan have had problems finding their rhythm throughout the season so far. They have several older players in their squad and maybe that's the reason they haven't been so impressive in Italy or Europe in the last couple of years."
Executive chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is also confident that Bayern can avenge the two defeats they suffered at the hands of Milan in the Champions League group stages three years ago.
"We didn't have a pleasant time of it three years ago, but our team is much stronger now," he commented.
