Milan v Siena - Sunday October 1st

The final match before the international break and we really need to finish this mini part of the season with a little flourish. Disappointing performances against Ascoli at home and Livorno away have led to some discontent amongst fans and arguments between players and coach. This could develop further depending on the result and the way we play tonight against Lille in the Champion's League.

The International break will be a good time for some of our less crocked players to try and get some fitness in them. Nesta, Kaladze, Maldini, Cafu, Favalli, Ambrosini, Oliveira and Gourcuff could all benefit from some extra training, while Serginho's rehabilitation will hopefully continue with positive results. The only real worry during the International break is the involvement of Kaka in the Brazil matches. He really needs to rest and i hope Dunga will use him sparingly in the upcoming friendlies.

Back to Siena and from their first 4 games they've got 7 points (2 wins, a loss and a draw), most recently drawing 0-0 with Cagliari. They aren't filled with stars, but Chiesa is an obvious name who can still cause trouble in his golden years. Frick is also a man to keep an eye on.

With a solid team and a good performance, we should be able to gain the 3 points. However, we all know it's never quite as easy as it should be.
