There is not a doubt, in my humble opinion, that Pippo can't hold the ball as well as Gilardino.

And he is not better than Oli? In terms of goals, in terms of shooting ON TARGET, in terms of positioning, in terms of holding up the ball, Gila trumps Oli (at least this year). Oli has been absolutely useless, and that's one reason why Milan is so poor in attack this year. Don't blame Gila alone; you put Shevchenko there and Gila + Sheva were crazy last year; now you put Gila + Oli and everyone goes dead.

There is no such thing as 'the way that he/she plays doesn't suit Milan's game'. In that sense, Seedorf shouldn't be wearing a Milan jersey coz he is too slow. Also, if you consider Inzaghi and Gila are the same types of players, then how can Inzaghi suit the style of MIlan? He should be sold right away, too.

One reason, I believe, that people don't like Gila is because of his high-tag price. But age comes with a price, too. Of course, you don't consider prolific striker like Shevchenko who, with $30M transfer, produces also nothing at Chelsea (currently losing 1-0 at home, btw). I just don't see how you can argue against Gila, because in terms of both stats and comparions it's against your argument.

And we have been talking about this for a long time. So, and this is the final question: If Gila doesn't suit Milan, and if you were the management, who will you replace? The only person I can come up with is Toni. Or, of course, you can buy Henry. But if you do get Henry, will you prefer a

Henry --- Gilardino OR

Henry --- Inzaghi OR

Henry --- Oliveria ?

I think this's pretty obvious isn't it? Or:

Perhaps you can trade Toni with Gilardino, but what on earth will make you think that Toni is a better player than Gilardino so much that Gilardino is not worth a dime? That's the question you have to answer, and you haven't been able to answer so far.

And, I'm not Gila poster boy. Spare me, but I'm straight.
Jeff...
Gila can hold the ball? How many times did I see him losing the ball? Lets see...so often that I cannot even count. Gila is a master of falling down and appealing to the ref for a penalty or a yellow card. But you know what I think..in every team there should be a player with such character or abilities (I dont know how to call this talent precisely), bcoz such player can really bring penalties sometimes...and sometimes red cards for opponent players. Although, such players should really do it less often, not as Gila almost every 5 minutes.
As for Inzaghi...he recently almost doesnt play - so why is he being blamed now? What do you want from a player who comes on a sub 5 - 10 minutes before the end of the match.
As for who I would buy..I would probably buy Kerzhakov, Arshavin, Toni, Rooney or some other player, but, honestly, not Gila, RO or Ronaldo - and definately not all 3 of them. I d spend these money for other good players, proven good players. And also I d do all the possible and impossible things, but I d make Sheva stay in the team and finish his career with Milan.
I think it is pretty obvious that we should not have bought these three: Gila, RO and Ronnie. How did all 3 end up in Milan - I dont know. If Gila and RO would cost less money (at least 50 - 60% less their price when we bought them) I d probably bought them, but not for those money that Milan paid for them. As for Ronaldo, him I would not take even for free - his age, recent achievements and weight - that is why.
