He is also right in the Ronaldo issue, and I think that the facts are all proven (Real played much better once Ronaldo left, it was evident for me, at least, that Madrid finally achieved some team spirit, and they ended up winning the league). And as well as Capello has his not so great precedents, Ronaldo has them too, and we just can't go blind about it. I love him as a player, and I believe that fully fit he can be #1, but a) his an injury prone 31 year old in whom we were placing most of our faith for this whole season (whole!!), I don't blame him on that point, I blame our management for having full knowledge of this and not taking care of bussiness b) I was never really happy with his primadonna party boy character, specially not in the Milan enviroment. All that said, this whole injury problem has gotten out of proportion, yes, I find it 100% disrespectful towards Milan, the coach, and his fellow teamates that right now he is at Rio spending his time while injured, without talking it first with the team. But, I think that, aside from the going to Brazil part, the rest has gone way to far. Doctors can make wrong diagnosis (the injury was right called, it was the magnitude that wasn't handled well), it's not like it happens every single day, so big thing, it turned out this time Ronaldo was the guy that was wrongly diagnosed...probably had he been Ambrosini there wouldn't have been such a media attention on the case. Ronaldo bursted out, most likely cause he thought he was going to play last week (which is good news, he wants to play), and his doctor made some comments that are 100% rude towards his colleagues, but shouldn't have really made a bigger impact on the media. |
