Kaka wants Seedorf out of the team
Got this from "AC Milan on Myspace":
"It is reported that Kaka' can have his say on Ancelotti. Kaka' defends 100% the Brasilian trio of Pa-Ro-Ka and has something a little negative to say against Seedorf. For Kaka', Seedorf throws off the Milan mid-field a bit. Playing with two fowards plus Seedorf make Milan to vulnarable. Rumors say that Kaka' has talked to Ancelotti about this, which has bothered him due to the fact that the Milan trainer keeps staying with Seedorf despite the foward minded midfield. Kaka' and Seedorf have no trouble together, however a real face to face is needed to clear things up on Milan's tactics ever since Pato has been in the formation. Seedorf most likely will have a turn of rest in tomorrow's game against Genoa." I can actually understand Kaka, because while Seedorf is an excellent player in many respects, he slows down our game. He is too keen on holding on to the ball, thus disrupting our pace in attack. We now have Kaka and Pato, both players who are very fast and good at moving in spaces, and what we don't need then is a Seedorf who holds onto the ball too long so that the opposing teams can close down spaces for our other players. I am not among the "Seedorf haters," as I quite like him both as a player and a person. But I am just not sure how much it benefits Milan to have him in our midfield anymore. The problem is that when Ambrosini and Gattuso play together, we lack creativity in midfield, as then there is only Pirlo to provide that killer ball for our attackers. For this reason it would be nice if we brought in another player, one who is good defensively but also has an eye for good passes, and Seedorf is more or less moved out of the regular starting line-up. It will be interesting to see how we do against Genoa tomorrow, if Seedorf is rested and Pato plays. |
