14 in 27 games is just more than 1 in 2 games. That's a very good total.
I don't think that Borriello & Huinter are slow. It's our mid that kills the potential pace of the team, and the ball hogs too. Borreillo does hog a bit, but only cause of lack of movement, ditto for R80, but sometimes he is waiting to create an opportunity for himself.
This team would be very good with a quick AM like Ganso or Honda whilst a player like VDV would require more movement from other players to be more successful.

Well in terms of playing ability and only judging by pre season our current patch of youth Merkel/Odu/Verdi/Strasser look alot sharper than previous batch.
Borriello is lethargic,Hunter sometimes looks lost (that could improve this season since he now has serie a experience). But 14 goals in 27 games most of them against lesser opponents, although goals are good no matter who they're against but being our first choice striker.....lets just say he's good for now.
I agree with the midfield part.

If Baloteli fails with City he may end up in Leeds, will that mean that at the time he was a Inter reject???

Yes.
but balo --> city for 30+ mill
boateng -- > pompey for 5 mill
situations are quite different

My points are: This guy is young and a strong character. People focus on the fact he injured Ballack too much. A year loan is a low risk trial for him and he has the raw abilities to fulfil, even his discipline is good (proof with Ghana NT).

= ) no worries
But i wasn't really focusing on the Ballack incident,i used it as an example of how his character isn't typical of a Milan player.
He has only been in Ghana NT for the months leading up to the world cup, like i said not much to go on.
But yes it's only a loan.
