Actually, I got the DVD for Zatoichi last week. Like I've said before its a great film with Takeshi Kitano starring and directing. It also has Asano (guy that plays Kakihara in Ichi the Killer), who is very good in the film. Its brilliantly made and the use of music and rhythm make it really enjoyable.

I watched Ong Bak. Its not the deepest of films, as I watched it without subtitles and didn't know a word of Thai, but understood it. The action is absoloutly astonishing, with amazing stunts, fights and rickshaws

Tony Jarr (sp?) will become a big star if this is what to expect from him.

Yep, Ong Bak is definitely all about the action. The plot is like any other action hero/cool guy martial arts flick. If you want a deeper plot go for Beautiful Boxer.

Btw, I just watched 13 going on 30 the day before yesterday and A Cinderella Story yesterday. Though I missed the first part of 13 going on 30, it was a very good show. Not that funny and yes the ending sucked, but it was a very good show.

Saw Warriors of Heaven and Earth the other day. Quite a good film thats a strange mix of period drama and fantasy. Anyway, its worth watching and Zhao Wei is very attractive

Zhao Wei? You mean Vicky Zhao. Ah yes, you just reminded me of So Close fo some reason. And there are many Asian stars who are just so damn beautiful.

Speaking of asians and Asian movies, I just saw Hero. I thought it was crap. For me, it was nothing compared to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. There weren't even all that many fight scenes, which was the reason I went to go watch it in the movie. Fortunately, it was saved by my Princess, Ziyi. I really love her...

haha, I think Warriors of Heaven and Earth was Chinese actually.

well, personally I like movies from anywhere, not just Asia, but lately I've been seeing a lot of asian movies.

I saw Twin Warriors last night with Jet Li.

It was pretty good, but it was dubbed which annoys me and Miramax ruined the music. Good action, very much typical of Hong Kong Jet Li films.
